Mets' Chris Beck: Assigned to Triple-A

Beck was assigned to Triple-A Las Vegas after clearing waivers Thursday, Matt Ehalt of The Bergen Record reports.

The recently DFA'd Beck will remain in the Mets' organization, but is no longer on the 40-man roster. He'll add depth to the Mets' Triple-A bullpen and could be an option to return to the big leagues later in the season.
