Mets' Josh Edgin: Throws off mound Monday

Edgin (elbow) threw off a mound Monday at Mets camp, Adam Rubin of ESPN reports.

With this development, Edgin's return date from Tommy John surgery is still estimated to be on May 1. However, it's nice to see that the left-hander appears to be progressing well and is on schedule for his return to the Mets bullpen.
