Plummer cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Syracuse on Friday, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.
Plummer was designated for assignment Tuesday but will remain in the organization. Over 58 games at Triple-A Syracuse, he's slashed .231/.317/.370 with seven home runs, 39 RBI, 27 runs and six stolen bases.
