Pirates' Austin Meadows: MRI confirms hamstring strain

An MRI on Thursday confirmed Meadows is dealing with a hamstring strain, Rob Biertempfel of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports.

The Pirates' top prospect tweaked his hamstring during a game with Triple-A Indianapolis on Wednesday night. He's expected to be reevaluated in Pittsburgh on Friday, at which point there should be a clearer timetable for his return.
