Pirates' David Freese: Batting fifth and playing third base

Freese is in the lineup, batting fifth and playing third base Thursday against Colorado.

Freese replaces the resting Jung Ho Kang in the Pirates' lineup. The 33-year-old has been seeing the ball well lately, as he's batting .359 with a .432 OBP over his last 12 games. He's also homered twice and doubled four times during that span.
