Blake Jackson: Added to active roster

The Browns promoted Jackson from the practice squad to the active roster Friday, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

Jackson, a quarterback in college at Mary-Hardin Baylor, had been signed by the Browns as a wide receiver. He was added to the 53-man roster after Cleveland placed linebacker Tanner Vallejo (hamstring) on injured reserve.
