Commanders' Efe Obada: Undergoes surgery

Obada underwent successful surgery to repair multiple lower leg fractures suffered in Washington's 31-19 loss to the Giants on Sunday, Ben Standig of The Athletic reports.

Obada was carted off the field in the first quarter after suffering the injury, which will likely put an end to his 2023 campaign. The 31-year-old appeared in five games for the Commanders this season and recorded two tackles.
