Johnny Holton: Cut from practice squad

Holton was released from the Giants' practice squad Monday, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports.

The 29-year-old reverted to New York's practice squad after playing 13 snaps on special teams during Week 3 against San Francisco. Holton appeared in 16 games for the Steelers last year and caught three of 15 targets for 21 yards.
