Packers' Dexter Williams: Behind Carson on depth chart

Williams is behind Tra Carson on the running back depth chart according to coach Matt LaFleur, Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports.

LaFleur praised Carson's knowledge and pass protection, suggesting Williams isn't picking up some intricacies of the game as quickly as the coach would like. The rookie sixth-rounder out of Notre Dame is far from a lock for a roster spot at this point.
