Dexter Williams: Joins Miami's practice squad

Williams was signed to the Dolphins' practice squad Monday, Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com reports.

Williams is a candidate to be promoted for Week 15 due to the lack of healthy running back depth currently on Miami's active roster. The third-year pro hasn't appeared in a game this season and has just 19 rushing yards on seven attempts during his NFL career.
