Jones completed 30 of 51 pass attempts for 270 yards, a touchdown and three interceptions in Sunday's 28-13 loss to the Saints. He added 28 yards on six carries.

Jones finally suffered the poor turnover fate that many of his fellow 2021 draft class quarterbacks have gone through early this season. The rookie's pick-six on the Patriots' first drive of the second half put the Saints up 21-3, pretty much putting the game out of reach and forcing the team to become one-dimensional. Even with the three interceptions, Jones is arguably having the best start out of all of the first-round quarterbacks taken in the draft. He will likely face his toughest test to date when the Patriots take on Tom Brady and the Buccaneers next Sunday.
