Texans' Mark Fields: Quickly signed off waivers

The Texans claimed Fields off waivers Thursday.

Fields was out of a job for less than 24 hours, as Houston pounced on the opportunity to acquire the Clemson product after the Vikings parted ways with him Wednesday. The 24-year-old will have to clear league COVID protocols before being removed from the commissioner's exempt list, but he will soon provide developmental depth to the Texans' secondary.
