Flyers' Matt Read: Placed on IR

Considering Read is expected to miss the next four weeks, it shouldn't be a surprise that the Flyers put him on IR. Despite a hot start to the season in which he recorded five goals in five games, the winger had been ice cold even before to his injury, registering a paltry three helpers in his last 15 appearances. Even when he's cleared to return, fantasy owners may want to hold off on utilizing the 30-year-old until he can get his season back on track.
