  • Nicolas Roy C | TOR

Maple Leafs' Nicolas Roy: Provides pair of helpers

Roy logged two assists, two hits and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Panthers.

Roy helped out on Easton Cowan's opening goal and Bobby McMann's empty-netter. The 28-year-old Roy is really coming around with a goal and five helpers over his last six contests while occupying a middle-six role with time in all situations. He's up to 17 points, 41 shots on net, 44 hits and a plus-6 rating over 39 appearances. He won't do a lot of anything, but he does a little of everything as a versatile and dependable forward.

  • Avalanche's Ilya Solovyov: Gets first point with Colorado

Solovyov notched an assist and two hits in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to the Lightning.

The helper was Solovyov's first point in 11 appearances for the Avalanche, who claimed him off waivers from the Flames before the start of the season. He's played in consecutive contests, filling in for Devon Toews (upper body), who is expected to be out at least a couple of weeks. The Avalanche haven't shown a lot of trust in Solovyov, but with injuries plaguing their forward group as well, they may not have the flexibility to bring up a defenseman to challenge Solovyov's spot in the lineup.

  • Avalanche's Zakhar Bardakov: Manages helper in loss

Bardakov notched an assist, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to the Lightning.

Bardakov has played in four straight games since injuries are starting to pile up for the Avalanche again. The 24-year-old remains in a fourth-line role, which will continue to limit his scoring potential. He's up to six points, 19 shots on net, 27 hits, 11 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating through 29 appearances this season.

  • Lightning's Anthony Cirelli: Fills empty cage

Cirelli scored an empty-net goal on two shots in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Avalanche.

Cirelli has three goals and three assists over his last seven outings. The 28-year-old center is up to 12 goals, 25 points, 73 shots on net and a plus-22 rating through 38 appearances this season. He's close to the pace needed to earn his second straight 50-point campaign, and he should also top the 20-goal mark if he can stay healthy and productive.

  • Mason Lohrei D | BOS

Bruins' Mason Lohrei: Finds twine in loss

Lohrei scored a goal on three shots in Tuesday's 7-4 loss to the Kraken.

Lohrei has a goal and three helpers over his last six games. The 24-year-old defenseman is getting active on offense despite a third-pairing role, and he should have a path to power-play time while Hampus Lindholm (undisclosed) is on injured reserve. Lohrei is up to three goals, 17 points, 34 shots on net, 51 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating over 38 appearances this season.

  • Bruins' Viktor Arvidsson: Earns two points late in loss

Arvidsson scored a power-play goal on four shots and added an assist in Tuesday's 7-4 loss to the Kraken.

Arvidsson tried to rally the Bruins late in the third period, but the comeback effort came up short. The 32-year-old winger has four points over his last three outings and is up to eight goals, 11 helpers, 77 shots on net and a plus-1 rating through 31 contests overall. Arvidsson should continue to get good looks on offense from the second line and second power-play unit.

  • David Pastrnak RW | BOS

Bruins' David Pastrnak: Scores twice in Tuesday's loss

Pastrnak scored two goals on seven shots in Tuesday's 7-4 loss to the Kraken.

Pastrnak scored in the first and second periods to answer the Kraken's first two goals, but the game got away from the Bruins in the end. This was the star winger's third straight multi-point effort as he starts to heat up on offense again. He's now at 19 goals, 48 points, 133 shots on net, 32 PIM, 45 hits and a minus-10 rating through 38 appearances this season.

  • Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Loses to Kraken

Swayman stopped 20 of 26 shots in Tuesday's 7-4 loss to the Kraken. The seventh goal was an empty-netter.

Swayman allowed six goals for the third time in his last 10 outings, ending his brief two-game winning streak. The 27-year-old netminder has struggled with consistency at times, but this was his fourth-straight start, all of which have been on the road, so fatigue may have been in play. He's now 16-11-2 on the season with a 2.91 GAA and a .901 save percentage through 30 appearances. The Bruins return home to face the Flames on Thursday, a team that beat him in overtime by a 2-1 score Dec. 29 in Calgary.

  • Tye Kartye LW | SEA

Kraken's Tye Kartye: Draws helper in win

Kartye notched an assist and two hits in Tuesday's 7-4 win over the Bruins.

Kartye had been scratched for the previous four games, but he drew in while Eeli Tolvanen (illness) sat out. The helper might not guarantee Kartye a spot moving forward, but it's a positive sign for the fourth-liner, who has struggled on offense this year. He's now at seven points, 25 shots on net, 89 hits, 23 blocked shots, 21 PIM and a minus-8 rating through 35 appearances.

  • Kraken's Frederick Gaudreau: Offers pair of helpers

Gaudreau recorded two assists and two shots on goal in Tuesday's 7-4 win over the Bruins.

Gaudreau has his first multi-point effort as a member of the Kraken after setting up third-period tallies by Kaapo Kakko and Berkly Catton. The 32-year-old Gaudreau has been flexing his versatility lately, drawing some power-play time while playing on the right wing at even strength in a second-line role. He's up to 11 points, 30 shots on net, 22 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating through 28 appearances this season. Gaudreau has earned nine of his points since the start of December.
