  • Cam York D | PHI

Flyers' Cam York: Still sidelined Tuesday

York (upper body) will not be in action versus the Sharks on Tuesday, Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.

York will miss his second straight game due to his upper-body problem, though he was on the ice for the game-day skate. The blueliner is currently stuck in a 13-game goal drought, but he did manage to chip in five helpers over that stretch. With York unavailable, Ty Murchison is poised to make his NHL debut against San Jose.

  • Flames' Yegor Sharangovich: Lights lamp against Sabres

Sharangovich scored two goals and added an assist in Monday's 7-4 win over Buffalo.

It's been a rough season overall for both Sharangovich and the Flames, but they might be finding a groove. The 27-year-old winger has just six goals on the season in 27 games, but half of them have come in the last two contests, and over the last 10 games he's produced four goals and seven points.

  • Dan Vladar G | PHI

Flyers' Dan Vladar: In goal Tuesday

Vladar will get the starting nod at home versus the Sharks on Tuesday.

Vladar was given the last two games off in favor of Samuel Ersson, so he should be plenty rested and looking to bounce back from his loss to the Penguins on Dec. 1 in which he gave up five goals on 27 shots. Overall, it's been a strong start to the year for Vladar, as he is 10-5-1 with a career-best 2.59 GAA in 16 outings.

  • Nazem Kadri C | CGY

Flames' Nazem Kadri: Three points in Monday's win

Kadri scored a goal and added two assists, one on the power play, in Monday's 7-4 win over the Sabres.

It's the second time in the last six games that Kadri has erupted for three points, and he's racked up five multi-point performances in the last 10 contests, a stretch in which he's delivered two goals and 14 points. The 35-year-old center has yet to miss a regular-season game since coming over to Calgary ahead of the 2022-23 season, but with just six goals in 31 games to begin the current campaign, he's on pace for his lowest total as a Flame.

  • Kings' Anze Kopitar: Nets game-winning goal

Kopitar scored a goal, put three shots on net and dished out two hits in Monday's 4-2 win over Utah.

Kopitar tallied the go-ahead goal under four minutes into the final period of play. With the twine finder, Kopitar has six goals, nine assists, 42 shots on goal and 21 blocks through 25 games this season. The 38-year-old center has four goals in his last 10 games and is heating up offensively. While his numbers aren't on pace to match his point output from the past few seasons, he scores with enough consistency to give him fantasy relevance in nearly all formats. Kopitar is seven tallies away from 1,300 points, which is a milestone he should comfortably hit before retiring at the end of this season.

  • Dustin Wolf G | CGY

Flames' Dustin Wolf: Hangs on for third straight win

Wolf turned aside 25 shots in Monday's 7-4 win over the Sabres.

Calgary handed Wolf a 2-0 lead in the first period, and while Buffalo kept pressing over the final 40 minutes, the 24-year-old netminder never allowed the visitors to even things up. Wolf has won three straight starts to kick off December, and through four outings this month he's delivered a stellar 1.80 GAA and .937 save percentage.

  • Sabres' Rasmus Dahlin: Two-point effort in Calgary

Dahlin scored an even-strength goal and added a power-play assist in Monday's 7-4 loss to the Flames.

It was the 25-year-old blueliner's first goal since Oct. 30. snapping a 14-game drought. Dahlin also hadn't managed a multi-point performance since Nov. 21, producing just two assists over his prior seven contests, but on the season he's still contributed two goals and 20 points in 26 games with 68 shots on net, 31 blocked shots, 31 PIM and 23 hits with a minus-12 rating.

  • Josh Norris C | BUF

Sabres' Josh Norris: Two helpers in Monday's loss

Norris notched two assists, one on the power play, in Monday's 7-4 loss to the Flames.

The Sabres were never able to catch up after falling behind 2-0 in the first period, but Norris did his best to spark the offense by having a hand in tallies by Tage Thompson and Rasmus Dahlin in the second frame. Norris has gotten onto the scoresheet in four straight games since returning from an upper-body injury that had sidelined him for most of October and all of November, producing two goals and seven points during that span as he tries to make up for lost time.

  • Joel Armia RW | LA

Kings' Joel Armia: Pair of goals Monday

Armia scored two goals and placed four shots on net in Monday's 4-2 win over the Mammoth.

Armia helped the Kings double their lead with a goal midway through the first period before he put the game to bed with an empty-net score in the final two minutes. The 32-year-old right winger is up to seven goals, 13 points, 35 shots on net and 25 hits through 29 games this season. He's quietly on pace to post a new career high in points if he can surpass the 30 points he had in 58 regular-season games with Montreal during the 2018-19 season. His minutes have also trended upward over the last few contests with his move up to the Kings' second line. While Armia won't provide immense fantasy value in standard leagues throughout the course of the season, he may be worth a look as a streaming option with his revamped role.

  • Alex Lyon G | BUF

Sabres' Alex Lyon: Needed in relief Monday

Lyon stopped all four shots he faced after replacing Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen to begin the third period of Monday's 7-4 loss to the Flames.

The switch had more to do with the poor play of the Sabres' defense than it did Luukkonen's performance, but Lyon did his part in giving Buffalo chance to mount a comeback from a 5-3 deficit. Lyon has started only one of the last 12 games, falling behind Luukkonen and Colton Ellis on the depth chart, but the team continues to carry three goalies rather than risk losing one on waivers. On the season, Lyon has a 3-6-3 record in 14 outings with a 3.16 GAA and .901 save percentage.
