Peyton Krebs C | BUF
Sabres' Peyton Krebs: Puts up assist
Krebs notched an assist, four hits and four PIM in Monday's 7-4 loss to the Flames.
Krebs has chipped in five helpers over his last 13 games, but he hasn't scored yet this season. He's at eight assists, 34 shots on net, 73 hits, 40 PIM, 18 blocked shots and a minus-8 rating through 29 outings overall. Krebs' mediocre offense is likely to keep him in a bottom-six role, but he had a career-high 10 goals and 28 points in 2024-25 while shooting 12.5 percent, so he should be able to pick up the pace.

Owen Power D | BUF
Sabres' Owen Power: Ends slump with goal
Power scored a goal on two shots and went minus-2 in Monday's 7-4 loss to the Flames.
Power put an end to an 11-game point drought with his tally. The 23-year-old has maintained a hearty share of ice time, averaging 19:45 per game during his slump, and he logged 21:17 in Monday's contest. For the season, the blueliner is at just eight points with 40 shots on net, 22 blocked shots, 14 hits and a minus-8 rating over 28 appearances. Power has taken a step back this year, his fourth full NHL campaign.

Alex Tuch RW | BUF
Sabres' Alex Tuch: Nets power-play marker
Tuch scored a power-play goal on four shots and went minus-3 in Monday's 7-4 loss to the Flames.
Tuch has two goals, two assists and a minus-2 rating over his last five games. The 29-year-old winger has yet to rack up a point streak longer than three games this season, but he also hasn't gone any more than two contests without a point. Overall, he's at 10 goals, 25 points (three on the power play), 72 shots on net, 28 hits, 30 blocked shots, 35 PIM and a minus-2 rating over 29 appearances. Tuch hasn't played his best overall, but it would be tough to expect much more offense out of him.

Tage Thompson C | BUF
Sabres' Tage Thompson: Strikes on power play
Thompson scored a power-play goal on three shots and went minus-4 in Monday's 7-4 loss to the Flames.
Thompson hadn't scored since his six-game goal streak ended Nov. 26 in Pittsburgh. He was limited to one helper over his last six outings. The 28-year-old is now at 13 goals, 23 points, 104 shots on net, 35 hits and a minus-14 rating through 29 appearances this season. While he remains in a top-line role, his recent tendency for streaky offense could frustrate his fantasy managers.

Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Confirmed starter on the road
Swayman will defend the road cage Tuesday versus St. Louis, per Belle Fraser of the Bruins' official site.
Swayman has good results since the beginning of November, registering a 9-3-0 record, 2.26 GAA and .928 save percentage over 12 appearances. The Alaska native has surrendered two goals or less in five of his last six appearances, and he's coming off a 29-save performance in Saturday's 4-1 victory over New Jersey. Backlund snapped an eight-game goal drought with his tally. During that span, he still managed four assists, eight shots and a plus-5 rating. The veteran center is up to five goals, 16 points, 62 shots on net and a plus-10 rating across 31 appearances. That's a level of production he's usually been able to attain in his career, though he fell short with 32 points in 76 outings in 2024-25.

Joel Hofer G | STL
Blues' Joel Hofer: Tending twine Tuesday
Hofer will patrol the home crease against Boston on Tuesday, per Lou Korac of NHL.com.

Jonathan Huberdeau C | CGY
Flames' Jonathan Huberdeau: Produces power-play goal
Huberdeau scored a power-play goal on two shots and added two PIM in Monday's 7-4 win over the Sabres.
Huberdeau is picking up the pace again with two goals and an assist over his last four contests. The winger is up to six goals, 15 points (five on the power play), 42 shots on net and 29 PIM over 26 outings. Huberdeau remains in a top-line role and on the first power-play unit, but he's struggled to find consistency on offense and may be better approached as a streaming option in fantasy.

Rasmus Andersson D | CGY
Flames' Rasmus Andersson: Tallies on power play
Andersson scored a power-play goal on four shots, blocked three shots, added two PIM and went plus-2 in Monday's 7-4 win over the Sabres.
Andersson has three points over four outings in December while continuing to offer all-around upside. The 29-year-old blueliner is up to seven goals, 21 points (seven on the power play), 73 shots on net, 62 blocked shots, 36 PIM and a plus-3 rating through 31 appearances this year. His career high in goals is 11, set in 2022-23 and matched in 2024-25, but he could shatter that mark and challenge for his best point total (50 in 2021-22) if he keeps up his current pace.
