Nationals outfielder Jayson Werth exited Friday's loss to the Braves in extra innings due to groin tightness, the Washington Post reports.
Calling the injury "a little groin tweak," manager Matt Williams said, "We decided it was best to get him out of there and re-evaluate [Saturday]."
Werth was 1 for 5 in the game before being removed. He has hit .351/.455/.568 with two home runs and eight RBI in 37 at-bats.
