Jack Britt, the father of Titans receiver Kenny Britt, told the Tennessean on Tuesday that his son has nothing to hide regarding a pair of incidents early Sunday morning and that reports that he has been uncooperative with police are "nonsense." Kenny is not running from anyone. He has nothing to hide, Jack Britt said. He is fully cooperating and the police are saying a lot of things that just aren't true. They don't have all the facts. Kenny is going to clear this thing up. Police interest in Britt stems from two incidents early Sunday morning in New Jersey in which a man was stabbed and a gunshot was fired. As of Monday, Britt hadn't spoken with police. His father said that Britt would meet with police soon, while Jersey City Police Captain Edgar Martinez said that Britt had been uncooperative and hadn't made himself available. Martinez confirmed that he and Britt were set to meet Wednesday. Until he comes in, nothing has changed, Martinez said, according to the Tennessean. Kenny Britt is a grown man. He needs to get here.
