Top Olamide Zaccheaus News

  • Falcons' Olamide Zaccheaus: Returning to Atlanta

Zaccheaus is in line to sign with the Falcons, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Zaccheaus previously played for Atlanta from 2019 to 2022, under Dan Quinn and Arthur Smith. The team now is led by Kevin Stefanski, who is badly in need of depth to support RB Bijan Robinson, WR Drake London and TE Kyle Pitts at the skill positions. Zaccheaus fits best as a No. 3/4 receiver, but he might get a crack at the No. 2 role if the Falcons don't bring in a bigger name. They're expected to release WR Darnell Mooney on Wednesday when the 2026 league year begins.

  • Bears' Olamide Zaccheaus: Minimal involvement late

Zaccheaus was not targeted in the Bears' 19-16 loss to the Lions on Sunday.

Zaccheaus played only six snaps and closed the season with 39 receptions (on 65 targets) for 313 yards and two touchdowns. He opened the year as the primary slot receiver but failed to record more than two catches in any of his final seven games as Luther Burden's role increased. Zaccheaus is set to hit free agency and profiles as a depth receiver entering 2026.

  • Bears' Olamide Zaccheaus: Logs full practice Wednesday

Zaccheaus (illness) was a full practice participant Wednesday

The Bears listed Zaccheaus and fellow WR DJ Moore as questionable due to respective illnesses ahead of this past Sunday's game at San Francisco, and while Moore was able to suit up, Zaccheaus was not. Now with an uncapped session under his belt, though, Zaccheaus is among four healthy options at the position on the team's active roster along with Moore, Jahdae Walker and Devin Duvernay. As for the other two, Rome Odunze (foot) continued to sit out practice Wednesday, while Luther Burden (quadriceps) was a limited participant.

  • Bears' Olamide Zaccheaus: Unavailable vs. 49ers

Zaccheaus (illness) is inactive for Sunday night's contest against San Francisco.

Zaccheaus was a late addition to Chicago's injury report due to an illness, and despite initially being initially listed as questionable to face the 49ers, he'll join Rome Odunze (foot) on the sideline for Week 17. DJ Moore (illness) is active for Sunday Night Football, meanwhile, despite having been added to the injury report in a similar fashion to Zaccheaus. Behind Moore and Luther Burden, expect Devin Duvernay, Jahdae Walker and JP Richardson to see increased offensive reps at the wide receiver position Sunday.

  • Bears' Olamide Zaccheaus: Questionable for Sunday night

Zaccheaus is now listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the 49ers due to an illness.

Along with Zaccheaus, the Bears also added fellow wideout DJ Moore to their injury report and list him as questionable for the Week 17 contest. Clarity on the statuses of both wideouts will be available when Chicago posts its inactive list 90 minutes ahead of Sunday's 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff. With Rome Odunze (foot) already ruled out for Week 17, Luther Burden, Devin Duvernay, Jahdae Walker and JP Richardson would be the Bears' other options at receivers if both Moore and Zaccheaus end up sitting out.

  • Bears' Olamide Zaccheaus: Extensive playing time in victory

Zaccheaus caught two of five targets for 33 yards in the Bears' 22-16 overtime win over the Packers on Saturday.

Zaccheaus played 86 percent of the snaps with Rome Odunze (foot) and Luther Burden (ankle) sidelined, and he placed second on the team behind DJ Moore in targets. He had seven or fewer receiving yards in five of his previous six contests, but if teammates remain out with injuries, Zaccheaus could be productive down the stretch.

  • Bears' Olamide Zaccheaus: Expanded role on tap

Zaccheaus is in line to join DJ Moore as one of Chicago's clear top two wide receivers during Saturday's game against the Packers, with Rome Odunze (foot) and Luther Burden (ankle) both ruled out, Thomas Carelli of SI reports.

Zaccheaus played 82 percent of offensive snaps during Chicago's blowout win over the Browns in Week 15, a contest that saw Odunze ruled out as a late scratch and Burden leave mid-game due to injury. While Zaccheaus couldn't translate his opportunities versus Cleveland into production, failing to haul in any of his three targets, that can be partially attributed to the dominant nature of the Bears' 31-3 victory. In what figures to be a competitive divisional matchup against Green Bay, Zaccheaus should offer a modest fantasy floor, especially in PPR formats.

  • Bears' Olamide Zaccheaus: Inconsistent role continues

Zaccheaus did not catch any of three targets in the Bears' 31-3 win over the Browns on Sunday.

Zaccheaus has been held to seven or fewer yards in five of his last six contests while seeing reduced involvement in the offense. While his role has diminished of late, both Rome Odunze (foot) and Luther Burden (ankle) are currently dealing with injuries, which could allow Zaccheaus to see more usage in Week 16 against the Packers.
