Fantasy News

  • Chiefs' Omarr Norman-Lott: Officially placed on IR

The Chiefs placed Norman-Lott (knee) on injured reserve Tuesday. Norman-Lott tore his ACL during the Chiefs' Week 7 win over the Raiders on Sunday. The injury will sideline the rookie second-rounder for the rest of the 2025 season, and he'll turn his attention toward his recovery and to be ready for the start of training camp in July of 2026. He'll end his first NFL regular season with five tackles (four solo), including 1.0 sacks. Jerry Tillery should see more rotational snaps at defensive tackle in Norman-Lott's absence.

  • Chiefs' Omarr Norman-Lott: Sustains torn ACL

Norman-Lott sustained a season-ending torn ACL in his right knee during Sunday's 31-0 win over the Raiders, Nate Taylor of ESPN.com reports. Norman-Lott exited the Chiefs' Week 7 win in the third quarter due to a knee injury, which has now been revealed to be a torn ACL. The rookie defensive tackle from Tennessee had played just 70 defensive snaps through his first five NFL games, recording five total tackles, including 1.0 sacks. Now that he's expected to miss the remainder of Kansas City's 2025 campaign, expect Jerry Tillery to operate as the team's top reserve interior defensive lineman.

  • Chiefs' Omarr Norman-Lott: Unavailable for Week 5

Norman-Lott (shoulder) is inactive for Monday night's contest in Jacksonville, Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site reports. Norman-Lott suffered a shoulder injury in practice Friday, and he will now be forced to miss his second contest of the year, previously sitting out Week 1 with an ankle issue. In his absence, Jerry Tillery and Derrick Nnadi will stand to see an increase in workload at defensive tackle alongside Chris Jones versus the Jaguars.

  • Chiefs' Omarr Norman-Lott: Listed as questionable

Norman-Lott (shoulder) is questionable for Monday night's game against the Jaguars. Coach Andy Reid said Saturday that Norman-Lott was injured in Friday's practice, Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site reports. The second-round rookie defensive lineman missed Week 1 with an ankle injury but has played just over 30 percent of the defensive snaps over the last three weeks.

  • Chiefs' Omarr Norman-Lott: Gets questionable tag Week 1

Norman-Lott (ankle) is officially listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Chargers. Norman-Lott was estimated as a limited participant in Thursday's walkthrough, matching his participation level Tuesday and Wednesday. The rookie second-round pick is expected to rotate in on the interior of Kansas City's defensive line if Norman-Lott gets the green light to make his regular-season NFL debut Friday in Brazil.

  • Chiefs' Omarr Norman-Lott: Idle with ankle injury

Norman-Lott (ankle) did not participate in practice Tuesday, Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site reports. • Chiefs' Omarr Norman-Lott: Chiefs add Round 2 defensive tackle

The Chiefs selected Norman-Lott in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft, 63rd overall. Norman-Lott (6-foot-2, 291 pounds) notably never started in college, instead playing as a specialist on passing downs at both Tennessee (2023-24) and Arizona State (2020-22). Norman-Lott was fairly productive in this specialist capacity, but it's still odd and probably concerning that he never got the chance to do more on the field. Norman-Lott is athletic for a 290-pounder, boasting a 31.5-inch vertical jump and 113-inch broad jump, so it will be interesting to see if the Chiefs try to tap into something more than what Norman-Lott showed at the college level.
