  • Ravens' Lamar Jackson: Not seen at practice Wednesday

Jackson (ankle) wasn't present for the media-access portion of Wednesday's practice, Cordell Woodland of 105.7 The Fan Baltimore reports.

Jackson missed the Ravens' Week 5 win in Atlanta due to a left ankle injury suffered one week prior, and while head coach Jesse Minter told Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com on Monday that the quarterback is "definitely doing better," his potential lack of activity to begin Week 6 prep isn't a great sign. Wednesday's practice report will unveal whether or not Jackson was able to mix into drills.

  • Ravens' Lamar Jackson: Could still return Sunday

Jackson (ankle) "has a realistic chance" to return to action Sunday against the Browns, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

It was reported Sunday that Jackson had "a real chance" to return in Week 6, and he appears to be in the same spot several days later. Jackson's involvement in practice -- or lack thereof -- before the end of the week ultimately figures to determine whether or not he will be back under center against the Browns.

  • Ravens' Ja'Kobi Lane: Could return in Week 6

Lane (wrist) "is expected to return to practice" and per head coach Jesse Minter "has a shot" to play Sunday against the Browns, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

Minter said Monday that Lane could be designated to return from injured reserve this week, and it now appears likely he will do so. His participation in practice -- or lack thereof -- from Wednesday through Friday will likely determine whether or not he is ultimately activated for Week 6.

  • Ravens' Justice Hill: Breaks off long run in OT win

Hill turned four carries into 73 yards and caught two of four targets for five yards during the Ravens' 30-23 overtime win over the Falcons on Sunday.

Hill was responsible for each of the Ravens' two longest offensive plays of the game. He turned his first carry into 21 yards early in the first quarter before breaking away for a 47-yard scamper midway through the third, which led to an 18-yard touchdown pass from Tyler Huntley to Derrick Henry two plays later. Hill's 73 rushing yards were his most in a game since Week 4 against the Chiefs (76), although he's firmly entrenched as the Ravens' change-of-pace RB2 behind Henry. The Ravens will stay on the road for Week 6 against the Browns on Oct. 18.

  • Ravens' Rashod Bateman: Aides Baltimore's comeback vs. Atlanta

Bateman caught five of six passes for 62 yards during the Ravens' 30-23 overtime win over the Falcons on Sunday.

Bateman ended up leading the Ravens in receiving yards while finishing second in catches and targets to Zay Flowers (eight catches on nine targets). Bateman played a crucial role in Baltimore's come-from-behind victory, with the veteran wide receiver logging catches of 11, seven and 20 yards late in the fourth quarter (all for first downs), with the drive ending on a seven-yard touchdown pass from Tyler Huntley to Devontez Walker. Bateman has a 16-233-1 receiving line on 20 targets over his last four games, but his role on offense would likely decrease once rookie third-round wide receiver Ja'Kobi Lane (wrist) returns from injured reserve, which could happen as soon as Week 7 against the Browns on Oct. 18.

  • Ravens' Cam Jurgens: Close to clearing concussion protocol

Head coach Jesse Minter said Monday that Jurgens is in the "finishing stages" of the league's concussion protocol, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.

The Ravens will have a better sense of Jurgens' status for this Sunday's road game against the Browns during or shortly after Wednesday's practice. He was acquired by Baltmore from Philadelphia on Oct. 7 and is expected to serve as the Ravens' starting center once fully healthy.

  • Ravens' Ja'Kobi Lane: Could return to practice Wednesday

Head coach Jesse Minter said Monday that the Ravens could designate Lane (wrist) to return from injured reserve as soon as Wednesday, Jonas Shaffer of the Baltimore Banner reports.

The rookie third-rounder's offseason momentum was stymied when he fractured his wrist during the Ravens' Week 1 win over the Colts. Minter noted that Lane has kept up his conditioning while on IR, and there's a chance that the 22-year-old wideout could be back on the field for practice as soon as Wednesday, though it's unclear whether he'll be cleared to return for Week 6 against the Browns on Oct. 18.

  • Ravens' Lamar Jackson: Progressing in recovery

Head coach Jesse Minter said Monday that Jackson is "definitely doing better" in his recovery from a sprained left ankle, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.

Jackson was held out of Sunday's 30-23 overtime win over the Falcons due to a left ankle sprain that he sustained during the Ravens' Week 4 win over the Titans. Minter added that he wasn't sure whether Jackson would be cleared to practice Wednesday, and the superstar quarterback's participation during Week 6 prep will ultimately determine whether he or Tyler Huntley starts against the Browns on Oct. 18.
