  • Texans' Dalton Schultz: Four grabs in Week 18 win

Schultz caught all four of his targets for 73 yards in Sunday's 38-30 win over the Colts.

The veteran tight end wrapped up the regular season on a high note, catching at least three passes for a sixth straight game. Schultz set new career highs with 82 receptions on 106 targets over 17 games, turning that volume into 777 yards and three TDs. He'll remain a reliable chain-mover for C.J. Stroud heading into the playoffs, beginning with a wild-card round clash with the winner of Sunday night's AFC North battle between the Ravens and Steelers.

  • Texans' Dalton Schultz: Held to 19 yards

Schultz recorded three receptions on four targets for 19 yards in Saturday's 20-16 win over the Chargers.

C.J. Stroud distributed targets evenly to his pass catchers, leaving Schultz as one of five Texans with either four or five targets. He didn't do much with the opportunity he did get, and he also picked up a key unsportsmanlike conduct penalty to stall a promising drive early in the second quarter. Schultz remains an inconsistent contributor, as this marked his third performance in his last six games with under 25 yards. However, he's either topped 50 yards or found the end zone in the other three contests in that span.

  • Texans' Dalton Schultz: Logs full practice Wednesday

    Schultz (knee) practiced fully Wednesday.

Schultz was deemed limited Tuesday, but the tight end's return to a full session a day later sets him up to be available for Saturday's game against the Chargers. Schultz has scored in each of his last two games, a span in which he has caught 13 of his 14 targets for 111 yards, a pace that keeps him firmly on the fantasy radar at the TE position in Week 17.

  • Texans' Dalton Schultz: Reps capped by knee issue

Schultz was a limited participant in Tuesday's practice due to a knee injury.

The knee issue is a new concern for Schultz, who hasn't appeared on Houston injury reports since Week 12, when he was managing a shoulder concern leading up to the Texans' game against the Bills. Schultz has yet to miss a contest this season, and so long as he's able to continue practicing in some fashion Wednesday and/or Thursday, he should be ready to play Saturday against the Chargers.

  • Texans' Dalton Schultz: Catches Stroud's only TD pass

Schultz had five receptions on as many targets for 35 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 23-21 win over the Raiders.

Schultz had the highest fantasy score of any pass catcher for Houston on Sunday after coming down with QB C.J. Stroud's only touchdown pass of the contest. It was the veteran tight end's third touchdown catch of the season, surpassing last year's total of two in two fewer games. Schultz is providing a consistent floor for fantasy managers heading into a matchup with the Chargers in Week 17.

  • Texans' Dalton Schultz: Hauls in TD in Week 15 rout

Schultz caught eight of nine targets for 76 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 40-20 win over the Cardinals.

The eight grabs and nine targets led the Texans, and Schultz capped his big performance with a four-yard TD grab from C.J. Stroud in the third quarter. It was just the second touchdown of the season for the veteran tight end, but Schultz has caught at least six passes and topped 50 receiving yards in five of the last seven games, posting a 38-342-2 line on 53 targets over that stretch. He'll look to deliver strong numbers again in Week 16 against the Raiders.

  • Texans' Dalton Schultz: Held to 22 yards

Schultz recorded three receptions on four targets for 22 yards in Sunday's 20-10 win over the Chiefs.

Schultz maintained a significant role in the Houston offense, finishing third on the team in targets behind Nico Collins and Jayden Higgins. Collins was the only Texans pass catcher to reach at least 35 receiving yards, and Schultz was among those to post a muted stat line. He entered the game having topped 50 receiving yards in six of his last eight games, so he should return to better production in Week 15 against Arizona.
