Kazmir (neck, blister) will start Friday against the Rockies, Andy McCullough of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Considered a 60-day DL candidate just days ago after he developed a blister during a sim game, Kazmir was able to flip the script with a successful 35-pitch bullpen session Tuesday. Kazmir hit the DL on Aug. 23 and was later diagnosed with thoracic spine inflammation. He may not be able to give the Dodgers much length in his return but the team has plenty of relief options to pick up the slack.
