Carter (lower leg) will return to action Thursday against the Pelicans. He will face an unspecified minutes restriction, per Magic radio voice Jake Chapman.
After missing a pair of contests, Carter will return to action and presumably reclaim the starting center spot from Robin Lopez. Prior to sustaining the injury, Carter had played at least 30 minutes in 11 straight games, averaging 14.1 points, 11.5 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.0 threes over that stretch. It's unclear how aggressive the Magic will be in restricting his workload Thursday, but the minutes limit makes him a risky DFS play.
