Buccaneers' John Brown: Elevated from practice squad

The Buccaneers elevated Brown from their practice squad Saturday, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports.

Brown joined Tampa Bay's practice squad Jan. 13 but didn't join the active roster for last week's wild-card win over Philadelphia. The 31-year-old could carve out a slight role in the passing game if Cyril Grayson (hamstring) is ruled out, but he's unlikely to see a significant target share in Sunday's divisional-round matchup against the Rams.
