Seth DeValve: Released by Panthers

The Panthers waived DeValve on Wednesday, designating him with a non-football injury, Alaina Getzenberg of The Charlotte Observer reports.

DeValve's stay with the Panthers was a brief one, as he'll leave the team just over two months after the club signed him to a deal. Once he moves past the unspecified injury, DeValve will try to catch on elsewhere as a depth tight end.
