Mets second baseman Daniel Murphy has quietly been on a nice offensive tear the last few weeks.
He is batting .333 (30 for 90) with a .365 on-base percentage, .478 slugging percentage and .842 OPS in his last 21 games. He has nine multi-hit games, one triple, one home run, eight doubles, eight RBI, 17 runs and five stolen bases in that span.
Murphy's batting average has gone from .256 to .308 and his slugging percentage has risen from .302 to .421 in that span.
