Ricky Rubio plays through busted lip

Timberwolves guard Ricky Rubio took a painful elbow to his face that left him bloodied and in need of 15 stitches to his upper lip Wednesday, but he was able to return to action in a 107-83 win over the Hawks.

Rubio ended up playing 31 minutes, many with the stitches in. He finished with just four points on 1 of 6 shooting, but he found other ways to contribute. Rubio dished out 10 assists while turning the ball over just twice, and ended up with six steals of his own in the win.

Rubio's shooting woes remain a concern, though he is playing better recently. He is shooting 43.6 percent from the field in the month of March, while averaging 9.9 points and 8.6 rebounds in 14 games.
