Williams closed with 14 points (6-11 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 1-4 FT), four rebounds, two assists, two blocks and two steals across 29 minutes during Saturday's 124-118 victory over New Orleans. Williams cobbled together another strong performance Saturday, scoring double-digits for the sixth straight game. Although his production has come at a time when others have missed time due to injury, this is what managers had hoped to see from him coming into the season. Despite the small sample size, Williams is worth grabbing in standard leagues, just in case he can turn this into sustainable production.... See More ... See Less

Bulls' Patrick Williams: Another strong performance
Williams ended with 14 points (6-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal across 28 minutes during Tuesday's 124-97 loss to the Celtics. Williams continues to round into form after a terrible start to the season. He has scored in double figures in four straight games, playing at least 28 minutes in three of the four. The Bulls are spiraling downward, so fantasy value is hard to project. DeMar DeRozan (ankle) and Zach LaVine (foot) left Tuesday's contest early, so if they miss additional time, Williams could be worth a flier just to see if the upward trend continues.... See More ... Bulls' Patrick Williams: Scores 20 in starting lineup
Williams supplied 20 points (7-9 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and four rebounds over 35 minutes during Sunday's 118-109 loss to the Nets. Williams was moved back into the starting lineup with Alex Caruso (foot) unavailable. The former really struggled in this role prior to Sunday, as he averaged 5.6 points and 4.6 rebounds in seven previous starts. Williams looked much more comfortable Sunday, and he seems to be trending in the right direction. Over his last three games, Williams has averaged 14.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 2.7 three-pointers.... See More ... See Less -
Bulls' Patrick Williams: Draws start Sunday
Williams is starting Sunday's game against the Nets. Williams retreated to the bench for Friday's game against the Raptors but will join the starting lineup for the second time in the last three games with Alex Caruso (toe) unavailable. Over seven starts this year, Williams has averaged 5.6 points and 4.6 rebounds in 25.7 minutes per game.... See More ... See Less -
Bulls' Patrick Williams: Nears double-double in start
Williams amassed 10 points (3-9 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds and two assists in 37 minutes during Wednesday's 116-102 loss to the Thunder. Williams took on a starting role Wednesday with Zach LaVine (foot) unavailable. While Williams wasn't particularly efficient from the floor, he came within three rebounds of a double-double. He'll likely revert to a reserve role once LaVine is cleared to return, and Williams has averaged 6.4 points and 3.0 rebounds in 20.7 minutes per game over nine appearances off the bench this year.... Bulls' Patrick Williams: Starting sans LaVine
Williams will enter the starting five for Wednesday's matchup with Oklahoma City. Williams will slide into the first unit with Zach LaVine (foot) sidelined. In six starts, Williams is averaging 4.8 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.0 steals-plus-blocks across 24.0 minutes.... See More ... See Less -
Bulls' Patrick Williams: Cleared to play Wednesday
Williams (finger) is available for Wednesday's game against the Thunder. As expected, Williams has been upgraded from probable to available. Despite an ongoing finger sprain, Williams has yet to miss a game this season, averaging 5.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.0 steals in 22.1 minutes across 15 appearances (six starts).... Bulls' Patrick Williams: Probable for Wednesday
Williams (finger) is probable to play Wednesday against Oklahoma City Williams is dealing with an ongoing left finger sprain, and his probable designation is becoming routine on Chicago's injury report. Williams has yet to miss a game this season and is on track to play Wednesday.... See More ... See Less -
Bulls' Patrick Williams: Modest role continues
Williams logged two points (1-5 FG, 0-1 3Pt), four rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal in 15 minutes during Saturday's 102-97 victory over the Heat. Over the first 12 games of the season, Williams made six starts and averaged 6.3 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.1 steals and 0.9 blocks in 23.7 minutes per game. However, over the last two games, Williams has managed just two points, six rebounds, two assists, two steals and a block in 28 total minutes. As long as DeMar DeRozan, Alex Caruso and Torrey Craig are healthy, Williams' path to consistent playing time is blocked.... See More ... See Less -
Bulls' Patrick Williams: Heads back to bench
Williams will come off the bench for Friday's game against Orlando. No surprise here, as DeMar DeRozan is back from his personal absence. Williams didn't shoot the ball well in his spot start Wednesday against the Magic, but he produced nine points, nine rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal.... See More ... See Less -
Bulls' Patrick Williams: Flirts with double-double in loss
Williams finished with nine points (2-7 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 5-6 FT), nine rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal over 32 minutes during Wednesday's 96-94 loss to Orlando. Williams moved back into the starting lineup Wednesday, replacing DeMar DeRozan, who was out due to personal issues. Although his numbers were far from spectacular, Williams did manage to chip in across the board for anyone who streamed him in. Given what we have seen thus far this season, there is no reason to consider him a standard league asset. Feel free to hold him to see if he can string together a few nice performances, but don't be surprised if things go in the opposite direction.... See More ... See Less -
Bulls' Patrick Williams: Moves into starting lineup
Williams will join the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Magic. DeMar DeRozan is unavailable for personal reasons, so this is a great opportunity for Williams to step up. He's had a very slow start to the campaign, as he's averaging 6.1 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.3 assists on 33.3 percent shooting from the field.... See More ... See Less -
Bulls' Patrick Williams: Probable for Wednesday
Williams (finger) is listed as probable for Wednesday's game against Orlando. Williams first appeared on Bulls injury reports Nov. 4 with a left finger sprain, but he has yet to miss a contest. He's coming off a season-high 13-point effort in Monday's 118-109 loss to the Bucks.... See More ... See Less -
Bulls' Patrick Williams: Season-best performance Monday
Williams logged 13 points (4-7 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, two assists, three blocks and two steals over 27 minutes during Monday's 118-109 loss to the Bucks. Williams came off the bench again Monday, and he is playing through a recent finger injury. Despite the shift to the second unit, Williams produced his best game of the season. He was seen as a possible breakout candidate coming into the campaign, but his start to the season has been far from convincing. While his production here demonstrates what he is capable of, there is no reason to prioritize him outside of deeper fantasy formats at this stage.... See More ... See Less -
Bulls' Patrick Williams: Good to go Monday
Williams (finger) is available for Monday's game against the Bucks. As expected, Williams has been upgraded from probable to available and will play Monday. He lost his starting spot to Torrey Craig, but Williams is still garnering a solid bench role, averaging 22.8 minutes over his last five appearances.... See More ... See Less -
Bulls' Patrick Williams: Probable for Monday
Williams (finger) is probable for Monday's game against the Bucks. Williams carried a probable tag into Sunday's game against Detroit, finishing with four points, one block and one steal in 19 minutes. He's been disappointing on multiple fronts in fantasy basketball this season, as he's shooting 30.6 percent from the field with minimal production across the board.... See More ... See Less -
Bulls' Patrick Williams: Available against Detroit
Williams (finger) is available for Sunday's game against the Pistons. Although Williams continues to deal with a left finger sprain, he was probable for Sunday's matchup and will officially be able to play once again. Over his last four appearances, he's averaged 7.5 points and 3.8 rebounds in 23.8 minutes per game.... See More ... See Less -
Bulls' Patrick Williams: Listed as probable
Williams (finger) is probable for Sunday's game against Detroit. Williams has been dealing with a left finger sprain for the past week, but he hasn't missed any games. The Bulls will play Sunday coming off three days of rest, which bodes strongly for Williams being available.... See More ... See Less -
Bulls' Patrick Williams: Good to go Wednesday
Williams (finger) is available for Wednesday's game versus the Suns, Will Gottlieb of AllCHGO.com reports. Williams has been upgraded from probable to available for a third straight game despite dealing with a nagging finger injury. The 22-year-old forward is averaging 5.9 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.0 steals in 23.3 minutes across his first eight appearances of the season.... See More ... See Less -
