With Kevin Kolb held out Sunday, Bills rookie quarterback EJ Manuel played the entire first half against the Colts. Manuel sputtered early with inaccurate throws against Indy's first stringers before showing glimpses of why he was drafted 16th overall.

Manuel's 24-yard scramble led to a first-quarter field goal. Then he guided Buffalo on a 92-yard touchdown drive right before halftime. Manuel hit all nine of his throws on the hurry-up drive, the last a 17-yard scoring strike to receiver Dorin Dickerson.

Manuel finished 16 of 21 for 107 yards, posting a 102.7 passer rating. He carried three times for 28 yards.
