  • Dolphins' Jason Sanders: Faultless in road loss

Sanders made both of his two field-goal tries and converted all three of his extra-point attempts during Sunday's 30-27 loss at Buffalo. Sanders made multiple field goals for his second straight contest in Week 9, further demonstrating his accuracy on short kicks this season. The Dolphins' offense appears to be back on track with Tua Tagovailoa under center again, and Sanders will get the benefit of kicking indoors in Week 10 against the Rams.

  • Dolphins' Jason Sanders: Perfect in Week 8 loss

Sanders converted both of his field-goal attempts and all three extra-point tries during Sunday's 28-27 loss to the Cardinals. Sanders was perfect for Miami in Tua Tagovailoa's return to the starting lineup, which despite a disappointing loss, featured the Dolphins' best scoring day of the season. The reliable placekicker has had at least two field-goal tries in six of seven appearances this season, and he'll hope for consistent opportunities again on the road against Buffalo in Week 9.

  • Dolphins' Jason Sanders: Misses 54-yarder in loss to Colts

Sanders converted one of two field-goal tries and his lone extra-point attempt during Sunday's 16-10 loss to Indianapolis. Sanders missed from 54 yards out early in the fourth quarter, hitting the left upright. The veteran kicker has now missed four of 14 field-goal tries across six games, though each of those failed conversions has come from 40-plus yards out. Sanders will try to get right Week 8 against the Cardinals.

  • Dolphins' Jason Sanders: Solid in narrow win over Patriots

Sanders converted three of four field-goal attempts during Sunday's 15-10 win over New England. Sanders missed one field-goal try from 41 yards out, but he converted kicks from distances of 54, 47 and 32 yards away. He hasn't been afforded the chance to kick a PAT in three consecutive games. After a Week 6 bye, Sanders and the Dolphins will face off against the Colts on the road.

  • Dolphins' Jason Sanders: Does job in loss

Sanders made both of his field-goal attempts in Monday's 31-12 loss to the Titans. Sanders' performance didn't impact the game, but he was successful from 44 and 56 yards out, bringing him to 6-for-8 on FGAs in the 2024 campaign. Next up for the New Mexico product and the Dolphins is a visit to New England for a Week 5 matchup.

  • Dolphins' Jason Sanders: Kicker to Sit

I'm worried about the Dolphins offense with Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) out, and Sanders only had one field goal and one PAT in Week 2 against Buffalo in the game where Tagovailoa got hurt. Seattle has allowed 5-of-6 field goals and three PATs on the season to Wil Lutz and Joey Slye, and Sanders could have minimal Fantasy production with Skylar Thompson under center for the Dolphins in Week 3.

  • Dolphins' Jason Sanders: First miss of season

Sanders converted one of two field-goal attempts during Sunday's 24-3 loss to the Seahawks. Sanders accounted for all of Miami's points in the team's convincing Week 3 loss to Seattle, a game in which neither of Skylar Thompson (ribs) or Tim Boyle were able to adequately pilot the offense while under center. With Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) still on IR for the foreseeable future, Sanders may continue to have his opportunities stymied by below-average offensive play. The Dolphins' next chance to get back on track will come versus Tennessee on Monday night.

  • Dolphins' Jason Sanders: Converts only FGA in TNF loss

Sanders converted his only-field goal attempt and his lone extra-point try during Thursday night's 31-10 loss to the Bills. The Dolphins' offense struggled mightily Thursday, leaving Sanders to cope with a game script that demanded the team to forsake field-goal opportunities. With Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) looking uncertain to play Week 3 against Seattle, and potentially longer, Sanders' scoring prospects could be minimized by a limited offense for the foreseeable future.

  • Dolphins' Jason Sanders: Converts game-winner Week 1

Sanders converted two of three field-goal attempts and both of his extra-point tries during Sunday's 20-17 win over the Jaguars. Sanders missed wide left from 42 yards out in the fourth quarter, but he more than made up for the gaff by converting from 37 yards out with less than five minutes remaining, then nailing a 52-yarder to put Miami ahead as time expired. The sixth-year pro will look to remain clutch Week 2, as the Dolphins prepare for a divisional Thursday Night Football matchup against the Bills.

  • Dolphins' Jason Sanders: Little doing in wild-card loss

Sanders converted his only extra-point try during Saturday's 26-7 wild-card loss to the Chiefs. Sanders didn't attempt a field goal during Saturday's frigid weather conditions, especially with Miami's offense stalling early. The loss was reminiscent of the Dolphins' regular-season finale loss to Buffalo, another contest in which trailing from the outset cost Sanders a chance to factor into the offense significantly. Still, Sanders is coming off a solid season in which he converted 24 of 28 field-goal attempts, with his only misses coming from 40-plus yards out.

  • Dolphins' Jason Sanders: Quiet end to impressive season

Sanders did not attempt a field goal during Sunday's 21-14 loss to the Bills. He converted both extra-point tries. Sanders had attempted at least two field goals in six of his prior seven games heading into Sunday's divisional loss, but Miami's offense was never put in a position to chase anything less than a touchdown. Across 17 games this season, Sanders converted 24 of 28 field-goal attempts (86 percent) and a career-high 58 of 59 extra-point tries. He'll look to maintain his consistency during the playoffs, beginning with a Saturday road matchup against the Chiefs in the wild-card round.

  • Dolphins' Jason Sanders: Bright spot in embarrassing loss

Sanders converted both of his field-goal attempts and his only extra-point try during Sunday's 56-19 loss to Baltimore. Sanders converted field goals from 38 and 27 yards out Sunday, but as the Ravens' lead slowly expanded, Miami was forced to pursue touchdowns more aggressively and foresake the kicking game. As long as the Dolphins are able to keep Week 18's crucial divisional matchup against Buffalo closer, Sanders should see more scoring opportunities. In seven appearances since the Dolphins' bye, Sanders has averaged 2.7 field-goal tries per game.

  • Dolphins' Jason Sanders: Perfect in blowout win

Sanders converted all three of his field-goal tries and all three of his extra-point tries during Sunday's 30-0 win over the Jets. Sanders wasn't called upon for any difficult kicks in Sunday's win, with his long attempt of the day coming from 37 yards out. He faces a tougher Week 16 matchup against the Cowboys, however, one in which Miami's offense may not be put in such a comfortable position. Since the Dolphins' bye in Week 10, Sanders has attempted at least two field goals in four of five games.

  • Dolphins' Jason Sanders: Nails all six PATs

Sanders converted his only field-goal attempt and all six extra-point tries during Sunday's 45-15 win over Washington. Sanders wasn't called upon to attempt many field goals Sunday, as at no point did the Dolphins' offense stall, but he was money on point-after tries. He faces another matchup Week 14 in which Miami figures to enter as a heavy favorite, with the Dolphins taking on the Titans on Monday.

  • Dolphins' Jason Sanders: Perfect in win over Jets

Sanders converted both of his field-goal attempts and all four extra-point tries during Friday's 34-13 win over the Jets. Sanders has now converted a field-goal try of 50+ yards in back-to-back games after having not done so through the first nine weeks of the season. He has another favorable matchup on deck in Week 13 against the Commanders.

  • Dolphins' Jason Sanders: Misses one kick in win over Raiders

Sanders converted two of three field-goal attempts and both his extra-point tries during Sunday's 20-13 win over the Raiders. Sanders missed his first field-goal try since Week 2, a 50-yarder, in Sunday's one-score win, but he also converted one FGA from 51 yards out. The veteran has historically struggled from that distance, but he's otherwise ranked among the NFL's most accurate kickers. He could see more field-goal opportunities than usual during Sunday's divisional matchup against the Jets, a team that thrives on creating low-scoring affairs -- New York's defense has held opponents below 20 points on six occasions this season.

  • Dolphins' Jason Sanders: Kicker to Sit

Despite playing on one of the best offenses in the NFL, Sanders is not a great Fantasy kicker. He only has two games this season with at least 10 Fantasy points and none since Week 3. He's only made three field goals in his past seven games. The Raiders have been feast or famine against opposing kickers as three kickers have made at least three field goals and six have made one or less. Given Sanders' track record, I would look to avoid him in Week 11, even at home.

  • Dolphins' Jason Sanders: Good on both PATs

Sanders converted both of his extra-point tries during Sunday's 21-14 loss to Kansas City. Sanders didn't log a field-goal attempt during Miami's international Week 9 loss, with the team having been forced into an aggressive gameplan due to an early deficit. After Miami's bye, Sanders will benefit from a more favorable matchup against the Raiders in Week 11.

Despite playing on one of the best offenses in the NFL, Sanders is not a great Fantasy kicker. He only has two games this season with at least 10 Fantasy points and none since Week 3. He's only made three field goals in his past six games. The Chiefs also are stingy to opposing kickers, ranking No. 2 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to the position. For the season, Kansas City has only allowed two kickers to make multiple field goals and none in the past three games.
