  • Packers' Mason Crosby: Coming off minor knee procedure

Crosby said Wednesday that he underwent a minor scope procedure on his right knee two weeks ago, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports. Crosby didn't participate in the Packers' opening practice of training camp after he was added to the active/PUP list last Friday. The 37-year-old said the scope was meant to address some lingering issues in his right kicking knee, and he added that he doesn't "expect it be to a long, nagging thing." Crosby has yet to miss a single game during his 15-year career, but rookie Gabe Brkic should continue to handle Green Bay's kicking duties during the veteran's absence in the early stages of camp.

  • Packers' Mason Crosby: Lands on PUP list

The Packers placed Crosby (undisclosed) on the active/PUP list Friday, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports. During Green Bay's mandatory minicamp in June, Crosby didn't attempt a kick, instead spending time with the rehab group on a stationary bike. Whatever impacted him then continues to bother him at the outset of training camp, leaving undrafted rookie Gabe Brkic as the team's only healthy kicker at the moment. Crosby is eligible to practice and play in preseason games, though, giving him plenty of time to reach 100 percent for a Week 1 matchup at Minnesota.

  • Packers' Mason Crosby: Not kicking during minicamp

Crosby (undisclosed) appears to be in the rehab group during Wednesday's minicamp practice, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports. Demovsky noted that Crosby hasn't attempted a kick during the Packers' first two minicamp practices, but the team hasn't released any information about a potential injury. The veteran kicker struggled mightily last season, but he's still the favorite to retain the job in 2022. However, Green Bay signed Dominik Eberle this offseason to provide competition for Crosby.

  • Packers' Mason Crosby: Uneven results in 2021

Crosby converted 25 of 34 field-goal tries, made 49 of his 51 extra-point attempts and scored 124 points over 17 games in 2021. Crosby recorded his most made field goals and finished with his top point total since the 2018 season, but also made just 73.5 percent of his field-goal attempts, marking his lowest success rate since 2012. The struggles weren't all Crosby's fault, as the Packers had all kinds of issues on special teams, but the results were still not great. While the 37-year-old had an up-and-down campaign, Crosby has been the Packers' kicker since 2010 and is under contract for 2022, so the team may opt to stick with the sure thing. However, they could decide to go in a different direction, and retirement is also on the table for the 2007 sixth-rounder.

  • Packers' Mason Crosby: First miss since Week 12

Crosby made a 36-yard field goal and went 1-for-2 on extra-point attempts in Sunday's 37-30 loss to the Lions. Crosby had not missed since misfiring on a field goal attempt against the Rams in Week 12, but his streak of 24 straight successful kicks came to an end when he pushed the point-after-touchdown try to the right after the Packers' second score of the game. The four points Crosby finished with Sunday were his fewest in a game since he was limited to just one point in the Packers' Week 9 loss to the Chiefs.

  • Packers' Mason Crosby: Ties season high with 13 points

Crosby made all three field-goal tries and all four extra points he attempted in Sunday's 37-10 victory over the Vikings. None of Crosby's three attempts to put three points on the board came from further than 37 yards away, but when it was all said and done, he tied his season high with 13 points and remained perfect since the Packers' Week 13 bye. Crosby will have a chance to rack up points again in Week 18 against a Lions team that is ceding the second-most points to opposing kickers, but his opportunities could take a hit if the Packers -- who have already wrapped up the No. 1 seed in the NFC -- limit the snaps of their top players or hold them out altogether.

  • Packers' Mason Crosby: Converts each kick in third straight

Crosby made a 32-yard field goal and all three point-after-touchdown tries he attempted in Saturday's 24-22 victory over the Browns. Crosby made every kick he attempted for a third week in a row, and he is now 3-for-3 on field goals and 13-for-13 on extra points since the Packers returned from their Week 13 bye. In Week 17, he and the Packers will take on the Vikings, against whom he made a 54-yard field goal and four extra points in Week 11.

  • Packers' Mason Crosby: Makes all attempts once again

Crosby made a 29-yard field goal and all four point-after-touchdown tries he attempted in Sunday's 31-30 victory over the Ravens. Crosby had a rough go of it in the two months preceding the Packers' Week 13 bye, but he has been automatic since, going 2-for-2 on field goals and a perfect 10-for-10 on extra-point tries over the last two weeks. He will attempt to keep the momentum going in Week 16 against the Browns, which have fared well against opposing kickers over the course of the season but have slipped down the ranks a bit in recent weeks.

  • Packers' Mason Crosby: Perfect for first time since Week 8

Crosby made a 20-yard field goal and all six of his extra-point attempts in Sunday's 45-30 victory over the Bears. While Crosby did not find himself in any precarious positions Sunday, he also did not miss an attempt for the first time since Week 8. Unfortunately for those that included him in their Week 14 lineups, most of the nine points he put on the board came one at a time. Crosby has gotten back on track a bit in the points column, but it will be a challenge for him to keep that going in Week 15, as the Packers face a Ravens team that ceded just five successful extra points and four made field goals over its last four contests.

  • Packers' Mason Crosby: Drops double digits in Week 12

Crosby made three of four field-goal tries and all three extra points he attempted in Sunday's 36-28 victory over the Rams. Crosby missed a field-goal attempt for the fourth game in a row and the sixth time in eight games, but he was able to reach double digits in the points column for the first time since Week 5. Despite the glut of misses, the Packers seem committed to Crosby. Fantasy players don't necessarily need to be, though, as the Packers will be on bye in Week 13 before facing a Bears team he scored just six points against in Week 6, followed by two teams -- the Ravens and Browns -- that rank top-10 in fantasy points ceded to opposing kickers.

  • Packers' Mason Crosby: Retaining kicking job

Packers head coach Matt LaFleur reiterated Monday that Crosby's remains the team's kicker, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports. "No, absolutely not," LaFleur said, when asked if the team was considering a change at kicker. "Have a lot of confidence in Mason, never would've sent him out there if we didn't on a 54-yarder...But have to make the chip shot." LaFleur was speaking in reference to another uneven showing from the veteran kicker in Sunday's 34-31 loss to the Vikings, when Crosby nailed a 54-yarder and went 4-for-4 on extra-point attempts, but misfired on a 32-yard attempt that held up as the difference in the game. Crosby is now sitting on a 65.2 percent success rate on field-goal attempts this season, the worst mark in his career by 10 percentage points. The 37-year-old's track record looks like it'll be enough for him to hold onto the job heading into a Week 12 matchup with the Rams, but LaFleur could change his tune if Crosby endures another erratic showing against Los Angeles.

  • Packers' Mason Crosby: Most points since Week 5

Crosby made a 54-yard field goal, missed a 32-yard field goal attempt and converted all four of his point-after-touchdown tries in Sunday's 34-31 loss to the Vikings. The seven points Crosby put on the board were the most he has recorded in a game since Week 5, but they were also three fewer than he should have had, as he misfired on a chip shot in the first half. Crosby has now missed eight field-goal attempts this season, with half of those coming between the 30-39-yard range. There has still been no indication the Packers are considering changing kickers, but Crosby's lack of accuracy -- coupled with the 5.2 points he averaged over the last six weeks -- makes him tough to trust from a fantasy perspective.

  • Packers' Mason Crosby: Adds another miss to ledger

Crosby made a 27-yard field goal, missed a 42-yard field goal attempt and converted both of his point-after-touchdown tries in Sunday's 17-0 victory over the Seahawks. Crosby has been true on his extra-point attempts this season, making 24 of his 25 kicks in that department. However, he is struggling mightily when trying to put three points on the board, making just eight of his 15 field-goal attempts over his last six appearances. There has been no indication that Crosby's job is on the line, but the misfires are putting a damper on his fantasy output, as he has not recorded more than six points in a game since Week 5. He will have the matchup in his favor in Week 11 facing a Vikings team that has allowed at least two made field goals in all but one game this season, but given his recent success rate and production, he will be tough to trust in fantasy lineups.

  • Packers' Mason Crosby: Another rough day at the office

Crosby missed a 40-yard field goal attempt, had a 37-yard field goal blocked and made an extra point in Sunday's 13-7 loss to the Chiefs. Neither of the misfires were entirely Crosby's fault, as the snap and hold were an issue on both. However, they were his sixth and seventh errant attempts over the Packers' previous five games. Crosby has not put up more than six points in a game since Oct. 10, and he could have a tough time topping that number in Week 10, as the Packers will square off against a Seattle squad that allowed a total of just eight field-goal attempts over its last five games.

  • Packers' Mason Crosby: Scores six points in third straight

Crosby made a 21-yard field goal and all three of his extra-point attempts in Thursday's 24-21 victory over the Cardinals. Crosby did not find himself in any precarious positions in Thursday's contest, but he also did not miss any of the four kicks he attempted. When it was all said and done Crosby wound up with six points, which matched his total from both Weeks 6 and 7. He had a couple productive games earlier in the season, but he has also finished with six points or fewer five times through eight weeks.

  • Packers' Mason Crosby: Hits field goal, has another blocked

Crosby made a 39-yard field goal, had a 34-yard field-goal attempt blocked and converted all three of his point-after-touchdown tries in Sunday's 24-10 victory over Washington. Crosby cashed in on three extra points for the fifth time in six games, but he also missed his fourth field-goal attempt in a three-game span. He is seemingly not in any danger of losing his job at the moment, but fantasy players may want to look elsewhere in Week 7 regardless, as the Packers will square off against a Cardinals defense that checks in No. 1 in the league against opposing kickers.

  • Packers' Mason Crosby: Bounces back with perfect day

Crosby made a 39-yard field goal and all three of his extra-point attempts in Sunday's 24-14 victory over the Bears. Crosby missed four attempts in the Packers' Week 5 victory over the Bengals, but he made his final kick that day and converted all four of his scoring opportunities seven days later. With one game to go in Week 6, Crosby is tied for ninth among kickers with a total of 48 points.

  • Packers' Mason Crosby: Caps wild day with game-winner

Crosby missed three field goals and an extra point in Sunday's game against the Bengals, but he also hit a 49-yard field goal in overtime to give his team a 25-22 win. It was quite the ride for Crosby, the Packers and fantasy players Sunday, but when it was all said and done he wound up winning the game for his team and putting a season-high 13 points on the scoreboard. While accuracy was certainly an issue for the veteran kicker, chances are he will shake off the rough afternoon, as he had not missed a kick since 2019 prior to Sunday. While Crosby averaged three made field goals over the last three weeks, he will have his work cut out for him in Week 6 as the Packers will take on a Bears team that allowed a total of one field-goal attempt over its last two contests.

  • Packers' Mason Crosby: Caps big night with winning kick

Crosby made all three field goals he attempted -- including a game-winning 51-yarder as time expired -- and three extra points in Sunday's 30-28 victory over the 49ers. Crosby's game-winning kick did not come from as far away as the 54-yarder he made in the first quarter, but it was exceedingly more important, as it brought the Packers from one point down to two points ahead with zeroes on the clock. Crosby has only attempted four field goals through three weeks, but he has made each one and has also converted all eight of his point-after tries.

  • Packers' Mason Crosby: Off to perfect start

Crosby made all five extra points he attempted in Monday's 35-17 victory over the Lions. Crosby is off to a perfect start, making the lone field goal he attempted in Week 1 and all his attempts this week, but he has only put eight points on the board thus far. Crosby remains as reliable as they come on the field, but not so much for fantasy players.
