Dolphins' Robert Beal: Won't play in Week 5
Beal (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bengals.
Beal will miss a third consecutive game due to a hamstring injury he sustained in Week 2 against the 49ers. The Dolphins are on a bye for Week 6, so he'll have additional time to rest before Week 7 against the Jets on Sunday, Oct. 25.

Dolphins' Justin Joly: Ruled out for Sunday
Joly (concussion) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Bengals.
Joly suffered a concussion after Wednesday's practice and was unable to participate in the Dolphins' Thursday or Friday sessions. The tight end remains in concussion protocol and will not be able to suit up for Sunday's game.

Dolphins' Dante Trader: Cleared to play against Cincinnati
Trader (shin) does not have an injury designation against the Bengals on Sunday, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic reports.
Trader opened Week 5 prep with consecutive limited practices, but he avoided an injury tag after logging a full session Friday. The second-year safety has 19 tackles (nine solo) and two pass defenses (one interception) through the first four games of the regular season.

Dolphins' Chris Bell: Cleared to play against Cincinnati
Bell (knee) does not have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Bengals, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic reports.
Bell has played through a knee issue over the Dolphins' last couple of games, and the rookie third-rounder will do so again Sunday after logging a full practice session Friday. He was unable to haul in any of his three targets during Miami's Week 4 loss to Minnesota, but he could see more targets from Malik Willis on Sunday due to the absence of fellow rookie Caleb Douglas (ankle).

Dolphins' Jaylen Wright: Questionable for Sunday
Wright (foot) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Bengals, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Wright missed Week 3 with a foot injury and stinger, before returning for Week 4 and splitting backfield work with Ollie Gordon early on. Gordon dominated snaps after breaking off a long run in the third quarter of the loss to Minnesota, and he was the favorite to take most of the carries this week even before Wright became a mid-week addition to the injury report. He's listed with a foot issue again, getting a questionable designation after limited practices Thursday and Friday. Meanwhile, the Dolphins claimed RB Kaytron Allen off waivers Friday, giving them another option in the backfield.

Dolphins' Caleb Douglas: Ruled out for Sunday
Douglas (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bengals, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
With Douglas set to miss a third straight game, Miami will again trot out Malik Washington, Chris Bell and Kevin Coleman as its primary three-receiver set.

Dolphins' Kaytron Allen: Claimed by Dolphins
Allen was claimed off waivers by the Dolphins on Friday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Allen was waived by the Commanders on Thursday, and he was scooped up by a new team a day later. Washington simply accumulated too many running backs to keep the rookie sixth-rounder around, but that will be less of an issue at his new stop, as Ollie Gordon and Jaylen Wright (foot) are the only other running backs on the roster with De'Von Achane (knee) on IR.

Dolphins' Caleb Douglas: Doubtful to play Sunday
Douglas (ankle) will practice in some capacity Friday but is still considered unlikely to play in Sunday's game against the Bengals, Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com reports.
After missing practice Wednesday and Thursday, Douglas appears to be making some progress in his recovery, but his status for Sunday still trends toward another absence. If he remains out, Miami would be without the rookie wide receiver for a third straight game, allowing Chris Bell and Kevin Coleman to play significant snaps at wide receiver alongside target hog Malik Washington.
