Blackhawks' Roman Kantserov: Another big game for Metallurg
Kantserov scored a goal and added two assists in Metallurg Magnitogorsk's 6-5 KHL win over Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg on Wednesday.
Kantserov has 11 multi-point efforts in 33 contests, as he's racked up 22 goals and 38 points on the year. He's also posted 79 shots on net and a plus-16 rating while being one of Metallurg's most critical players. The 21-year-old Blackhawks prospect will set a new personal best in points with his next scoring contribution.

Blackhawks' Roman Kantserov: Crosses 20-goal mark in KHL
Kantserov scored twice in Metallurg Magnitogorsk's 5-2 win over Barys Astana on Saturday.
Kantserov is still leading the KHL at 21 years old -- he's earned 21 goals and 35 points in 32 contests. He's third in the league in points as well. The Blackhawks prospect is looking like a steal after he was selected 44th overall in 2023, but he'll still need to show he can score at a high pace in the NHL once he comes over to North America.

Blackhawks' Roman Kantserov: Stays hot in KHL win
Kantserov scored a goal in Metallurg Magnitogorsk's 4-1 win over Barys Astana on Sunday in the KHL.
Kantserov has seven goals and six assists over his last nine contests. Through 25 games, he leads the KHL with 16 goals, and he's second in the league in points (27) behind Metallurg teammate Vladimir Tkachev. Kantersov should have no trouble surpassing his 38-point effort from 47 regular-season games a year ago -- he's already set a career high in goals.

Blackhawks' Roman Kantserov: Leading KHL in goals
Kantserov scored his KHL-leading 11th goal of the season in Metallurg Magnitogorsk's 2-1 overtime win over Sibir Novosibirsk on Tuesday.
Kantserov's tally opened the scoring early in the second period. The finishing touch is a bit of a new development for the 21-year-old, who had previously racked up 21 goals and 32 assists in his first 101 KHL regular-season contests prior to 2025-26. In Tuesday's game, he also won 11 of 22 faceoffs, so it appears Metallurg is giving him a look down the middle, though the Blackhawks drafted him as a winger. Kantserov's KHL deal concludes at the end of this season, and if he doesn't re-sign in Russia, he could make the leap to North America for 2026-27.
