  • Flames' Dillon Dube: Relegated to minors

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(11/29/18) Dube was returned to AHL Stockton on Thursday.

Calgary's second-round (56th overall) draft pick cracked the Opening Night roster, but Dube saw sporadic ice time on the way to producing five points over his first 20 games at the top level. Nonetheless, it's still a bit strange that he'd be sent down after producing three points over the last five.

Flames' Dillon Dube: Limited in return

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(11/19/18) Dube logged a mere 6:05 of ice time in his first game back from injury versus Edmonton on Saturday.

Dube failed to register any significant stats versus the Oilers while slotting into a bottom-line role. If the 20-year-old doesn't find a way to secure more minutes, the club could decide to demote him to AHL Stockton if only to get him some additional playing time.

Flames' Dillon Dube: Ready to rock

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(11/16/18) Dube (concussion) is expected to return to the lineup for Saturday's game against the Oilers, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.

Dube has missed the Flames' last four games due to a concussion, but it appears as though the 20-year-old pivot is now back to 100 percent. He'll likely return to a bottom-six role against Edmonton.

Flames' Dillon Dube: Won't play Thursday

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(11/14/18) Dube (concussion) isn't expected to play Thursday against the Canadiens, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.

Dube's concussion is apparently no longer an issue, but coach Bill Peters wants the 20-year-old pivot to log a little more practice time before returning to game action. Dube's next opportunity to rejoin the lineup will come Saturday against the Oilers.

Flames' Dillon Dube: Expected back Thursday

by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com
(11/13/18) Dube (concussion) will need to pass one last test to be removed from the concussion protocol, but is on track to play against Montreal on Thursday.

Dube has been sidelined for the Flames' previous three contests after sustaining a concussion Nov. 3 versus Chicago. The center will need to be activated off injured reserve before he can slot into the lineup. The Flames currently have just 22 players on the active roster, so no additional move will be required to make room for Dube.
