Bauer (6-5) picked up the win and allowed two runs on four hits over seven innings Sunday against the Twins. He struck out eight and walked two.

Bauer hasn't been overly effective in 2017 but has turned in two solid starts in a row, giving up four runs over 12.2 innings with 13 strikeouts. The right-hander shut out the Twins for the first six innings before they struck in the seventh, but Bauer was able to escape without them taking the lead, and he helped his team secure a 5-2 victory.
