Usually the only time we ever notice the kicker is when he's making or missing an important field goal. Well, you're going to notice Penn State kicker Joey Julius no matter what he's doing.
He's somewhat hard to miss.
First of all, before I even get to the size of the young Mr. Julius, can I just say that Joey Julius is a fantastic name? It sounds like an important character in a summer blockbuster.
As for his size, hey, there's just more of Joey to love. If he puts all that weight into his kicks, he'll probably be drilling 60-yard field goals like they're nothing this season.
And if he does start chipping in 60-yarders, he should get Heisman Trophy votes. Hell, if I had one, he'd already have mine.
