Matusz is the likely starter for the Cubs' matchup against Seattle on Sunday, Bruce Levine of WSCR-AM reports.
Matusz was scratched from his Triple-A Iowa start on Friday, signaling a possible call up. The 29-year-old hurler recently made two starts for the Triple-A affiliate, giving up two earned runs over a combined 9.1 innings. He'd match up with Seattle's Felix Hernandez if he indeed does get the promotion before Sunday's game.
