  • Kameron Misner CF | PHI

Phillies' Kameron Misner: Shipped to Philly

The Royals traded Misner to the Phillies on Saturday in exchange for cash.

After being DFA'd by the Royals on Wednesday, Misner will reclaim a 40-man roster spot with the Phillies and report to Triple-A Lehigh Valley. The 28-year-old outfielder has slashed just .220/.256/.244 across 44 plate appearances in the majors this season but boasts a .941 OPS through 63 games at Triple-A. Steward Berroa was designated for assignment in a corresponding move.

  • Drew Gilbert CF | SF

Giants' Drew Gilbert: Multi-hit effort in win

Gilbert went 2-for-2 with a walk in Friday's 7-6 extra-inning win over the Angels.

Gilbert lined a single to center field in the second inning and added another base hit in the fourth. The 25-year-old outfielder delivered his first multi-hit performance since July 5 and is now batting .256 with five RBI, three runs scored and a home run in 47 plate appearances on the month. He's slashing .233/.316/.357 with 23 runs scored, 21 RBI and four long balls across 239 plate appearances this season.

  • Luis Robert CF | BAL

Mets' Luis Robert: Pops fourth homer

Robert went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Friday's loss to the Dodgers.

The center fielder took Roki Sasaki deep in the second inning to give the Mets an early lead, although they couldn't make it hold up in an eventual 4-2 loss. It was Robert's fourth homer of the year, and his second in four games since coming off the IL following a nearly three-month absence due to back issues. The 28-year-old's checkered injury history and lack of consistent production limit his value despite the impressive physical tools he possesses when he's fully healthy, but Robert is still a player New York will likely try to move at the trade deadline.

  • Juan Soto LF | NYM

Mets' Juan Soto: Headed for imaging

Soto (calf) will undergo imaging Saturday after being removed from Friday's game early, Tim Britton of The Athletic reports. "This has nagged him for a week," interim manager Andy Green said after Friday's contest. "Anytime you get an image, you're concerned."

The superstar outfielder has been dealing with a sore left calf since the first game following the All-Star break and has mostly played DH during that time while also getting Wednesday off, but that hasn't been enough to clear up the issue. Soto also missed time with a calf strain earlier this season, but that was his right calf, not his left. Over 17 games in July, Soto has managed a .218/.405/.436 slash line in 74 plate appearances with four homers, eight runs and 13 RBI.

  • Braves' Ronald Acuna: Could be back Sunday

Acuna (hamstring) isn't expected to be activated from the 10-day injured list until at least Sunday, Ian Quillen of MLB.com reports.

Acuna had been scheduled to play a rehab game at Triple-A Gwinnett on Friday, but a rainout muddles Atlanta's plans for activating the star right fielder. Gwinnett has a doubleheader scheduled for Saturday, and MLB manager Walt Weiss didn't rule out Acuna playing both ends of it before rejoining the big club. Atlanta planned to have the 28-year-old back in its lineup this weekend, so a Sunday activation remains possible. Acuna has been sidelined since June 9, and over 53 games for Atlanta this season he's managed a .794 OPS with seven home runs and 15 steals.

  • Blake Dunn CF | CIN

    Reds' Blake Dunn: Suffers setback

Dunn (elbow) suffered a setback recently prior to being sent on a rehab assignment, MLB.com reports.

Dunn underwent imaging, which revealed additional damage to ligaments in his right elbow. He'll visit Dr. Keith Meister for a second opinion, with surgery a possibility.

  • Brewers' Josiah Ragsdale: Dominating at Double-A

Ragsdale is 20-for-65 (.308) with seven home runs, 13 RBI, six stolen bases and an 18:21 BB:K through 18 games with Double-A Biloxi.

A sizzling start to the season with High-A Wisconsin earned Ragsdale a promotion to Biloxi, and he has fared even better in the OPS department than he did at his first stop. The Brewers do not lack quality prospects, and Ragsdale has firmly put his name in the mix.

  • Cubs' Pete Crow-Armstrong: Launches 22nd homer

Crow-Armstrong went 2-for-4 with a walk, a double and a solo home run in Friday's 3-2 extra-inning win over the Pirates.

The star center fielder got the Cubs on the board by taking Jared Jones deep in the sixth inning. It was his first long ball since July 8 and his 22nd of the season, and over 17 games this month he's delivered a .288/.447/.593 slash line with four homers, five steals, 10 RBI and 13 runs.

  • Jordan Lawlar CF | ARI

Diamondbacks' Jordan Lawlar: Nearly at full speed

Lawlar (hamstring) has resumed all baseball activity and is nearly running at full speed, MLB.com reports.

Lawlar's experienced improvement over the last week. He was not yet at full speed one week ago but is now on the precipice of participating in bridge games at the Diamondbacks' training facility in Arizona. Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo confirmed Friday that the bridge game activity should occur in the coming days.

  • Giants' Casey Schmitt: Launches another homer

Schmitt went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Friday's 7-6 extra-inning win over the Angels.

Schmitt homered for the second game in a row and for the fifth time across 18 contests in July. He's batting just .230 (17-for-74) this month, but he's supplied 11 RBI. Schmitt also has a share of the Giants' lead for homers with 21, and he's batting .272 with a .792 OPS, 54 RBI, 46 runs scored, 17 doubles, one triple and nine stolen bases over 95 contests.
