Lasco (hamstring) gained 15 yards on five carries in Sunday's win against the Seahawks.
Lasco missed the Saints' Week 7 tilt with a hamstring injury but was able to suit up against Seattle. Before his injury, it appeared that Lasco may have gained some ground on Tim Hightower to be Mark Ingram's top backup. However, when Ingram was benched following a first-quarter fumble against the Seahawks, it was Hightower who was summoned in relief, gaining 102 yards on 26 carries. There's a good chance that Ingram starts in Week 9, but should his benching be more than temporary, Hightower, not Lasco, would likely be the primary beneficiary.
