Wonnum projects to be available for Sunday's game against the Packers after it was confirmed his COVID-19 test Wednesday generated a false positive result, Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

Wonnum tested negative Thursday, indicating Wednesday's result was a false alarm. The second-year pro has taken over the starting defensive end spot for the Vikings following the injury to Danielle Hunter (pectoral) and has recorded six tackles and one pass deflection over the last three contests.
