Karel Vejmelka UTA G
Mammoth's Karel Vejmelka: Tending twine in Game 4
8h agoVejmelka will patrol the home crease in Monday's Game 4 versus the Golden Knights, per Steve Carp of The Sporting Tribune.
Vejmelka will look to stay hot Monday after recording back-to-back wins in Game 2 and Game 3, respectively. He has now been called upon to start in all four games of Utah's first-round matchup. Vejmelka has fared well in the series with a 2-1-0 record, a 2.36 GAA and a .916 save percentage. With his 40th win between the regular season and playoffs behind him, the 29-year-old netminder will aim to win his ninth game over his last 12 outings dating back to March 28.
-
Emil Andrae PHI D
Flyers' Emil Andrae: Set to play Monday
11h agoAndrae (upper body) is good to play in Game 5 against Pittsburgh on Monday, per Jackie Spiegel of The Philadelphia Inquirer.
Andrae missed Philadelphia's past three games due to the injury. He had two goals and 13 points in 61 regular-season appearances. Noah Juulsen is set to be a healthy scratch Monday to accommodate Andrae's return.
-
Charles-Alexis Legault CAR D
Hurricanes' Charles-Alexis Legault: Recalled by Carolina
12h agoLegault was recalled from AHL Chicago on Monday.
Legault was sent to the minors in mid-April, but he'll join the Hurricanes ahead of their second-round series in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. However, it's not yet clear whether he'll remain with the Hurricanes once they resume play.
-
Dan Vladar PHI G
Flyers' Dan Vladar: Tending twine in Game 5
12h agoVladar will defend the road net in Game 5 against Pittsburgh on Monday, Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
Vladar stopped 17 of 20 shots in Game 4's 4-2 loss to the Penguins on Saturday, with the fourth goal being an empty-netter. He has gone 3-1 this postseason, allowing only seven goals on 94 shots. The Flyers can advance to the second round of the 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs with one more victory.
-
Gabriel Landeskog COL LW
Avalanche's Gabriel Landeskog: Contributes pair of helpers
15h agoLandeskog notched two assists, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Sunday's 5-1 win over the Kings in Game 4.
Landeskog has four points over the last three games. He's added eight shots on net, 14 hits, four blocked shots, six PIM and a plus-4 rating over four playoff contests. The 33-year-old winger was officially on the third line Sunday, but he could be shuffled up to the top six if the Avalanche run into any injury troubles or other adversity in the later rounds of the postseason.
-
Devon Toews COL D
Avalanche's Devon Toews: Adds insurance tally
15h agoToews scored a goal on two shots in Sunday's 5-1 win over the Kings in Game 4.
Toews has a three-game point streak going (one goal, two assists) after being held off the scoresheet in the playoff opener. He's added five blocked shots, two hits, four shots on net and a plus-3 rating. Toews is coming off his worst regular season since his rookie year -- he was limited to 24 points in 68 outings. The veteran blueliner is in the postseason for the eighth year in a row, and over the previous seven playoff runs, he accumulated 12 goals and 43 assists over 84 contests, production in line with his peak abilities during regular-season play.
-
Yakov Trenin MIN C
Wild's Yakov Trenin: Status unclear for Game 5
16h agoTrenin (upper body) is questionable for Game 5 versus the Stars on Tuesday, per Joe Smith of The Athletic.
Trenin participated in Monday's practice, but a clearer picture of his availability could materialize after Tuesday's morning skate. He didn't have a point in two postseason outings against Dallas before missing the past two games, but he has registered 16 hits and two blocked shots.
-
Tyson Kozak BUF C
Sabres' Tyson Kozak: Probable for Game 5
17h agoKozak (undisclosed) is probable for Tuesday's Game 5 against the Bruins, Heather Engel of NHL.com reports.
Kozak exited Sunday's 6-1 victory in Game 4 due to an unspecified injury. Head coach Lindy Ruff said after the game that the team talked about Kozak returning, so it isn't very surprising that the 23-year-old will likely be able to suit up Tuesday as the Sabres attempt to close out the first-round series. Across his first two postseason appearances this year, he's recorded an assist, four hits and two blocked shots while averaging 9:47 of ice time.
-
Josh Norris BUF C
Sabres' Josh Norris: Might play Tuesday
17h agoNorris (undisclosed) could be an option for Game 5 versus the Bruins on Tuesday after head coach Lindy Ruff told reporters, "Norris is going to skate (Monday). He could be available."
Norris has missed the Sabres' last two playoff contests due to his undisclosed injury. While he failed to produce a point in his first two postseason contests, the 26-year-old center had 13 goals and 21 assists in 44 regular-season outings this year. If Norris can return for Game 5, it would likely be in a middle-six role.
-
Nicolas Roy COL C
Avalanche's Nicolas Roy: Extends point streak
18h agoRoy scored a goal in Sunday's 5-1 win over the Kings in Game 4 of the Western Conference first round.
Roy has cracked the scoresheet in each of the last three games, earning three points (two goals, one assist), three shots on goal, five hits and three blocked shots. Don't expect Roy to have a big role on offense in the rest of the playoffs, though, as he figures to remain in a bottom-six role until further notice.
-
Nathan MacKinnon COL C
Avalanche's Nathan MacKinnon: Three points in win Sunday
18h agoMacKinnon had two goals, including one on the power play, and an assist in Sunday's 5-1 win over the Kings in Game 4 of the Western Conference first round.
MacKinnon had accrued just one assist and seven shots on goal in the first three games of the series combined, but he woke up in Game 4. His five shots on goal were a personal best in the current playoff run, and he got involved in three of the team's five goals in Sunday's win. MacKinnon should be critical for the Avalanche's success throughout the rest of the playoffs as the opponents get tougher.
-
Anze Kopitar LA C
Kings' Anze Kopitar: Retirement official
19h agoKopitar's 20-year NHL career came to a close Sunday, per the NHLPA.
The Kings were swept in the first round of the 2026 playoffs by the Avalanche on Sunday. Kopitar retires as the Kings' all-time scoring leader, having amassed 1,316 points in 1,521 regular-season games. He also added 27 tallies and 62 assists in 107 playoff outings while leading the team to two Stanley Cup championships in 2012 and 2014.
-
Gabriel Landeskog COL LW
-
Jared Wright LA RW
Kings' Jared Wright: Sent back to minors
15h agoWright was returned to AHL Ontario on Monday, John Hoven of SiriusXM NHL Network Radio reports.
Wright failed to score a goal in 27 regular-season and postseason contests, chipping in just four assists, 37 shots and 34 hits. With the Reign, the 23-year-old forward was significantly more impressive, generating 17 goals and 13 assists in 54 regular-season outings. If he can't find a way to bring that scoring touch to the NHL, Wright may have to spend the bulk of the 2026-27 campaign in the minors.
-
Mats Zuccarello MIN RW
Wild's Mats Zuccarello: Practices, questionable for Game 5
16h agoZuccarello (upper body) is questionable for Game 5 against Dallas on Tuesday, Joe Smith of The Athletic reports.
Zuccarello worked on the top power-play unit during Monday's practice, which is an encouraging sign for a potential return. However, it remains unclear if he will be back in the lineup after missing the last three games. Zuccarello contributed three assists, including two on the power play, in Minnesota's 6-1 win over Dallas in Game 1 on April 18.
-
Viktor Arvidsson BOS LW
Bruins' Viktor Arvidsson: Absent from practice
17h agoArvidsson (upper body) is questionable for Game 5 against Buffalo on Tuesday, Conor Ryan of The Boston Globe reports.
Arvidsson didn't participate in Monday's practice after being injured in Sunday's 6-1 loss to the Sabres in Game 4. There was no update on his availability following Monday's session. He has two goals, 11 shots on net, three blocked shots and one hit in four outings this postseason. Michael Eyssimont could replace Arvidsson in Tuesday's lineup, but James Hagens and Alex Steeves are also available as replacement options.
-
Jason Zucker BUF LW
Sabres' Jason Zucker: Deemed probable versus Bruins
17h agoZucker (undisclosed) is considered probable ahead of Game 5 versus the Bruins on Tuesday, according to head coach Lindy Ruff.
While Ruff wouldn't fully commit to having Zucker available for Game 5, the veteran winger seems to be trending in the right direction. Despite his team having a 3-1 series lead, Zucker has yet to register a point through four postseason contests while chipping in 12 hits and eight shots.
-
Kasperi Kapanen EDM RW
Oilers' Kasperi Kapanen: Nets another goal in loss
1d agoKapanen scored a goal on two shots and added three hits in Sunday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Ducks in Game 4.
Kapanen has done his part this series with four goals and one assist over four contests after picking up just two points over his last 15 regular-season games. The 29-year-old winger's performance hasn't been copied by many of his teammates, which is why the Oilers are staring down elimination. Kapanen should continue to be effective on offense and with physicality in a middle-six role at even strength.
-
Emil Andrae PHI D
Flyers' Emil Andrae: Set to play Monday

-
Devon Toews COL D
Avalanche's Devon Toews: Adds insurance tally
15h agoToews scored a goal on two shots in Sunday's 5-1 win over the Kings in Game 4.
Toews has a three-game point streak going (one goal, two assists) after being held off the scoresheet in the playoff opener. He's added five blocked shots, two hits, four shots on net and a plus-3 rating. Toews is coming off his worst regular season since his rookie year -- he was limited to 24 points in 68 outings. -
Nils Lundkvist DAL D
Stars' Nils Lundkvist : Ruled out for Game 5
16h agoLundkvist (face) has been ruled out for Tuesday's Game 5 against the Wild, Lia Assimakopoulos of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Lundkvist exited Saturday's Game 4 against Minnesota after suffering a deep facial laceration, and he'll be forced to miss at least one additional matchup. It's not yet clear whether he'll be available for Thursday's Game 6, but the Stars are hopeful that Lundkvist will be able to return before the end of the first-round series. The Stars haven't yet announced Lundkvist's replacement for Tuesday's game, but Ilya Lyubushkin is a candidate to enter the lineup.
-
Nikita Zadorov BOS D
Bruins' Nikita Zadorov: Questionable for Game 5
17h agoZadorov (undisclosed) missed Monday's practice session, raising doubts about his availability for Game 5 versus the Sabres on Tuesday, Conor Ryan of The Boston Globe reports.
Zadorov has seemingly been playing through an injury, but that hasn't stopped him from averaging 18:06 of ice time in the playoffs -- though that is significantly below his regular-season average of 20:53. If Zadorov is forced to sit out Game 5, it would likely be Mason Lohrei who steps into the lineup Tuesday.
-
Joel Edmundson LA D
Kings' Joel Edmundson: Scores in playoff exit
17h agoEdmundson scored a goal in Sunday's 5-1 loss to the Avalanche in Game 4 of the Western Conference first round.
Edmundson found the back of the net in the second period with a wrister, but that would be all the offense the Kings would muster throughout the game. It was also Edmundson's lone point of a playoff run that ended with Sunday's loss. He had a career-high 23 points (two goals, 21 assists) in 82 regular-season contests, but he was far from a reliable fantasy performer, although he had more upside in leagues that reward physicality with his 97 hits and 111 blocked shots.
-
Karel Vejmelka UTA G
Mammoth's Karel Vejmelka: Tending twine in Game 4
8h agoVejmelka will patrol the home crease in Monday's Game 4 versus the Golden Knights, per Steve Carp of The Sporting Tribune.

-
Dan Vladar PHI G
-
Isak Posch COL G
Avalanche's Isak Posch: Returned to AHL
15h agoPosch was loaned to AHL Colorado on Monday.
Posch had been serving as the Avalanche's third goalie behind Scott Wedgewood and Mackenzie Blackwood. The 24-year-old Posch could return to the big club once the second round of the playoffs begins.
-
Carter Hart LV G
Golden Knights' Carter Hart: Ready to play in Game 4
16h agoHart was the first goalie off during Monday's morning skate, Jesse Granger of The Athletic reports, indicating that he'll draw the Game 4 start on the road against Utah.
After turning aside 31 of 33 shots (.939 save percentage) during a 4-2 win in Game 1, Hart is coming off back-to-back losses in which he's allowed a total of seven goals on 41 shots. However, he'll remain in the crease Monday as the Golden Knights attempt to even the series.
-
Anton Forsberg LA G
Kings' Anton Forsberg: Ends playoff run winless
17h agoForsberg stopped 27 of 31 shots in Sunday's 5-1 loss to the Avalanche in Game 4 of the Western Conference first round. The fifth goal was an empty-netter.
Forsberg didn't win a single game in the playoffs as Colorado swept the Kings, and even though the outcome of the series wasn't Forsberg's fault, it's worth noting he posted a save percentage under .880 in his last two starts. Forsberg ends the playoff run having allowed 11 goals on 121 shots (.909 save percentage) over four games in another first-round exit for the Kings.
-
Scott Wedgewood COL G
Avalanche's Scott Wedgewood: Shines in series-clinching win
18h agoWedgewood stopped 24 of 25 shots in Sunday's 5-1 win over the Kings in Game 4 of the Western Conference first round.
Wedgewood was one of the reasons why the Avalanche managed to sweep the Kings, as he allowed one goal or fewer in three of the four games while posting a save percentage of at least .923 each time. Wedgewood will carry a 1.21 GAA and .950 save percentage into the second round of the playoffs, where the Avalanche will play either the Stars or the Wild.
