Earlier today, we noted that Mets outfielder and pop-culture sensation Tim Tebow entered Tuesday mired in an 0-for-12 slump during Arizona Fall League play.

Naturally, Tebow chose this afternoon to tally his first hit -- a line-drive single against Cubs prospect Duane Underwood. Here's a few looks at the batted ball and swing:

It's worth noting that the hit came in Tebow's second at-bat of the game, meaning he began his AFL career 0 for 13.

We'll see if this is the beginning of a turnaround, or just an instance of a blind squirrel barreling a ball.
