  • Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Just misses double-double in finale

Nembhard racked up 19 points (7-13 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-5 FT), three rebounds, nine assists and three steals in 38 minutes during Sunday's 141-136 victory over the Knicks. The 23-year-old rookie posted his best scoring performance since Mar. 22 while falling just short of his sixth double-double of the season. Nembhard failed to score in double digits only twice in the final 16 games of the season, and he'll head into 2023-24 as a key part of a young Pacers backcourt that also features Tyrese Haliburton and Bennedict Mathurin.

  • Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Records three steals in loss

Nembhard had 13 points (6-14 FG, 1-2 3Pt), two rebounds, eight assists and three steals in 31 minutes during Sunday's 115-105 loss to the Cavaliers. Nembhard recorded three-plus steals for just the fourth time this season and finished with at least 10 points and eight assists for the third time over his past seven appearances. During that stretch, the rookie point guard has averaged 15.1 points, 7.3 assists, 2.6 rebounds and 0.9 steals in 30.3 minutes, and he should continue to garner an increased role as long as Tyrese Haliburton (ankle) remains sidelined.

  • Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Dishes out season-high 15 dimes

Nembhard accumulated 15 points (6-15 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 15 assists and two rebounds in 28 minutes during Wednesday's 149-136 loss to the Bucks. With Tyrese Haliburton (ankle) missing his second straight game, Nembhard once again shifted over from an off-ball role to point guard and saw a big spike in his passing opportunities. He ultimately came away with his fifth double-digit assist game of the season, with the 15 dimes beating his previous best by two. Some poor efficiency from the field and a lack of peripheral numbers limited the overall value of Nembhard's line, but any manager that streamed him for assists certainly won't complain about the limited production in other areas.

  • Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Double-double on home soil

Nembhard contributed 25 points (11-17 FG, 3-5 3Pt), 10 assists and two rebounds across 35 minutes during Wednesday's 118-114 win over the Raptors. Playing in his first NBA game in his native country, the rookie recorded his third double-double of the year and first since early December. Nembhard managed only two points in Monday's loss to the Hornets, but he's otherwise on an impressive run, averaging 17.3 points, 5.6 assists, 2.1 boards and 2.0 threes over the last seven games while shooting 52.1 percent from the floor and 48.3 percent (14-for-29) from beyond the arc.

  • Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Performance drops off

Nembhard closed Monday's 115-109 loss to the Hornets with two points (1-6 FG), two rebounds and six assists in 29 minutes. In the previous four games with Tyrese Haliburton (knee) out, Nembhard was excellent. The rookie averaged 20 points on 16 field-goal attempts over those contests, but his performance Monday was a disappointment, as he took only six shots. However, Nembhard did help out with six assists to salvage one category for anyone streaming the guard. If Haliburton remains sidelined, Nembhard should be a bounce-back candidate.

  • Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Steps up in loss

Nembhard produced 22 points (9-14 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound and two assists in 37 minutes during Saturday's 141-121 loss to the 76ers. After putting up his second 20-point performance of the season Thursday, Nembhard dropped 22 against the 76ers on Saturday. The rookie guard is benefitting from the absence of Tyrese Haliburton (knee), who is slated to miss at least the next two games. With four games next week and the Pacers pushing to make the playoffs, the rookie guard should see an expanded role for the duration of the fantasy playoffs, giving him some appeal in leagues with waivers still running.

  • Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Scores team-high 24 points

Nembhard chipped in 24 points (10-21 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 0-2 FT), one rebound and five assists across 28 minutes during Thursday's 139-123 victory over Milwaukee. Nembhard continues to garner an expanded offensive role with Tyrese Haliburton (knee) and Bennedict Mathurin (ankle) sidelined. The rookie second-round pick posted his highest scoring outing since Dec. 5, when he scored a season-high 31 points (13-21 FG) in a win over Golden State and finished with at least 15 points and five assists for a third consecutive game. During that stretch, he's averaged 19.3 points and 6.7 assists with 44/39/64 shooting splits.

  • Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Pops for 15 in Monday's loss

Nembhard chipped in 15 points (6-14 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-3 FT), four rebounds and seven assists over 36 minutes during Monday's 117-97 loss to the Pistons. The Pacers came into the game missing multiple bodies in the backcourt and saw Chris Duarte (ankle) exit early, leaving Nembhard as almost the last guard standing. The rookie's added responsibilities have led him to score at least 14 points in three straight games while dishing 16 total assists, and as long as Tyrese Haliburton (knee) and Bennedict Mathurin (ankle) are sidelined, Nembhard will have a great deal of DFS appeal.

  • Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Excels as main playmaker

Nembhard finished Saturday's 121-115 win over the Pistons with 19 points (6-15 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 5-6 FT), eight assists and three rebounds across 33 minutes. Though he struggled to find his shooting touch Saturday, Nembhard thrived as the Pacers' lead playmaker in the absences of Tyrese Haliburton (knee) and T.J. McConnell (back). The eight assists were Nembhard's most since Feb. 10, and he turned the ball over just twice despite taking on a 23.4 percent usage rate. With head coach Rick Carlisle already ruling out Haliburton and McConnell for Monday's rematch with Detroit, Nembhard should make for a strong streaming option for assists and to a lesser degree, steals, for at least one more game.

  • Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Efficient night Thursday

Nembhard recorded 14 points (6-7 FG, 2-2 3Pt), two rebounds, one assist and two steals across 26 minutes during Thursday's 134-125 overtime win over the Rockets. Nembhard had his best game in almost two months, scoring in double digits for just the second time in his past 11 games. After busting out in early December, Nembhard has struggled to produce at a consistent level despite retaining a spot in the starting lineup. He is well outside the top 250 over the past month, making him an afterthought in most fantasy formats.

  • Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Returns to starting lineup

Nembhard is starting Thursday against the Celtics, Dustin Dopirak of The Indianapolis Star reports. Nembhard came off the bench during the Pacers' final game before the All-Star break, but he'll return to the starting lineup Thursday. Over his last 10 appearances (seven starts), he's averaged 6.6 points and 4.6 assists in 26.2 minutes per game.

  • Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Plays 21 minutes off bench

Nembhard chipped in four points (2-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt), one rebound, five assists and one steal over 21 minutes during Wednesday's 117-113 victory over the Bulls. Nembhard started in his last seven appearances but came off the bench Wednesday while T.J. McConnell drew the start alongside Tyrese Haliburton. Nembhard's role didn't decrease significantly, and he was efficient from the floor in the narrow win. It's unclear whether Nembhard or McConnell will start following the All-Star break, but Wednesday's performance showed that Nembhard's starting status is unlikely to significantly impact his fantasy value.

  • Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Moved to bench Wednesday

Nembhard will come off the bench Wednesday against the Bulls, Dustin Dopirak of The Indianapolis Star reports. Coach Rick Carlisle has seemed to be searching for a working lineup all season, and he'll give T.J. McConnell and Tyrese Haliburton a chance to start together during the Pacers' final game before the All-Star break. Nembhard's shooting has been an issue this month, with the guard converting just 37.8 percent of his shots from the field, 31.3 percent of his threes and 66.7 percent of his free throws. In 11 appearances off the bench, he's averaged 6.8 points, 3.0 assists and 2.1 rebounds in 19.5 minutes.

  • Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Comes up short again Saturday

Nembhard closed with seven points (3-7 FG, 1-3 3Pt), two rebounds, two assists and one steal across 20 minutes during Saturday's 127-113 loss to the Wizards. Nembhard disappointed again in the loss, continuing what has been an ordinary month. Over that time he is outside the top 300 in standard formats, despite playing upwards of 27 minutes per night. While he did manage to pop up on the 12-team radar earlier in the season, managers can safely ignore him in all formats moving forward.

  • Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Reclaims starting role Thursday

Nembhard is starting Thursday's game against the Lakers, Kyle Goon of The Orange County Register reports. Nembhard returned to action Friday against the Bucks but came off the bench over his last two appearances and averaged 10.5 points and 3.5 assists in 24.0 minutes per game. However, he'll return to the starting lineup while Chris Duarte comes off the bench Thursday.

  • Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Will come off bench Friday

Nembhard (illness) is available but will come off the bench during Friday's matchup against the Bucks. Nembhard will return from a two-game absence due to an illness, but the rookie second-round pick will make his first appearance off the bench since Nov. 28, snapping a streak of 28 straight starts. Across nine appearances as a reserve, Nembhard has averaged 6.0 points, 2.9 assists and 2.2 rebounds in 18.6 minutes per game.

  • Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Will play Friday

Nembhard (illness) is available for Friday's game against the Bucks, Scott Agness of FieldhouseFiles.com reports. Nembhard has missed back-to-back games due to an illness, but he'll be back in action Friday and presumably return to the Pacers' starting five. Since moving into the starting lineup (35 games), the rookie second-round pick has averaged 9.1 points, 4.2 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 1.1 steals in 29.6 minutes per contest.

  • Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Listed as questionable

Nembhard (illness) is questionable for Friday's game against the Bucks. Nembhard has missed the last two games due to an illness, and it's not yet clear whether he'll be able to return Friday. If he's sidelined once again, Chris Duarte and T.J. McConnell should continue to see increased run for Indiana.

  • Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Out Wednesday

Nembhard (illness) is out for Wednesday's matchup at Orlando. The rookie will miss a second straight game due to an illness. In his absence, Chris Duarte is likely to draw another start, while T.J. McConnell should handle the most significant share of playmaking duties.

  • Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Questionable Wednesday

Nembhard (illness) is questionable for Wednesday's game against Orlando. Nembhard sat out Tuesday's game against the Bulls due to a non-COVID illness, but he'll be in the mix to return to action for the second half of the back-to-back set. Over his last six appearances, he's averaged 7.8 points, 6.3 assists and 2.7 rebounds in 27.3 minutes per game.
