  • Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Listed as questionable

Nembhard (illness) is questionable for Friday's game against the Bucks. Nembhard has missed the last two games due to an illness, and it's not yet clear whether he'll be able to return Friday. If he's sidelined once again, Chris Duarte and T.J. McConnell should continue to see increased run for Indiana.

  • Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Out Wednesday

Nembhard (illness) is out for Wednesday's matchup at Orlando. The rookie will miss a second straight game due to an illness. In his absence, Chris Duarte is likely to draw another start, while T.J. McConnell should handle the most significant share of playmaking duties.

  • Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Questionable Wednesday

Nembhard (illness) is questionable for Wednesday's game against Orlando. Nembhard sat out Tuesday's game against the Bulls due to a non-COVID illness, but he'll be in the mix to return to action for the second half of the back-to-back set. Over his last six appearances, he's averaged 7.8 points, 6.3 assists and 2.7 rebounds in 27.3 minutes per game.

  • Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Ruled out

Nembhard (illness) won't play Tuesday against the Bulls, Dustin Dopirak of The Indianapolis Star reports. Nembhard has been downgraded from questionable to out due to an illness and will miss the first half of a back-to-back set. His status for Wednesday remains unclear, but in his stead Tuesday, Bennedict Mathurin and Chris Duarte are both candidates for increased roles and usage, especially since Tyrese Haliburton (knee) remains sidelined.

  • Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Questionable Tuesday

Nembhard (illness) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Bulls. Nembhard played through an illness Saturday against the Suns but was unable to participate in Monday's practice session. It's not yet clear whether he'll be available for Tuesday's matchup against Chicago, but Chris Duarte and Trevelin Queen are candidates to see increased roles if Nembhard sits out.

  • Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Still dealing with illness

Nembhard (illness) wasn't present for Monday's practice, Dustin Dopirak of The Indianapolis Star reports. Nembhard was listed as questionable for Saturday's matchup against the Suns due to an illness, but he ultimately played through the issue, though he totaled just four points and four assists across 21 minutes -- his fewest since Nov. 19. The rookie can likely be considered questionable for Tuesday's matchup against the Bulls, but his official status won't be known until the Pacers release their next injury report.

  • Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Good to go Saturday

Nembhard (illness) is available for Saturday's game against the Suns, Tony East of SI.com reports. Nembhard will play through an illness and should continue taking on extra playmaking responsibilities with Tyrese Haliburton (knee, elbow) out. Over the past five games, Nembhard is averaging 8.6 points, 6.8 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 1.2 steals in 28.6 minutes.

  • Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Trending in right direction

Coach Rick Carlisle noted that Nembhard (illness) is "doing OK" and that he thinks the guard will play Saturday at Phoenix, Dustin Dopirak of The Indianapolis Star reports. This is good news for the Pacers, who are thin in the backcourt with Tyrese Haliburton (knee, elbow) sidelined. Still, if Nembhard sits or sees limited action, more minutes could be in store for Chris Duarte and Trevelin Queen.

  • Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Questionable at Phoenix

Nembhard is questionable for Saturday's game against the Suns due to an illness. Nembhard hasn't missed a game since Nov. 27, and his absence would be exceptionally hard-hitting with Tyrese Haliburton (elbow, knee) out. An absence from Nembhard could mean more minutes for Trevelin Queen and Chris Duarte.

  • Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Comes close to double-double

Nembhard totaled 18 points (7-16 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, seven assists and two steals in 27 minutes during Wednesday's 126-106 loss to Oklahoma City. Nembhard ended three assists away from recording what would've been his third double-double of the season, though the two previous ones came back in early December. Nembhard has settled into a regular starting role for Indiana and is averaging 10.4 points, 4.7 assists and 3.0 rebounds per game in January, making hm a decent streaming alternative in deeper formats.

  • Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Delightful performance Sunday

Nembhard closed with 19 points (7-11 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four assists, one block and four steals across 32 minutes during Sunday's 116-111 win over Charlotte. Nembhard was great in the victory, delivering his best performance in quite a while. It's been a bit of a roller coaster for Nembhard so far this season. Early on, he soared into the 12-team discussion with some big performances, only to fall by the wayside thanks to a prolonged stretch of mediocrity. Through it all, he has maintained a steady role as a member of the starting lineup, meaning he should at least be someone managers are keeping an eye on moving forward -- especially if the Pacers were to move Buddy Hield before the deadline.

  • Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Quiet night against Celtics

Nembhard racked up eight points (4-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt), five rebounds, five assists, one block and one steal over 34 minutes during Wednesday's 117-112 win over Boston. The rookie looked good early after being re-inserted into the starting lineup at the end of November and popped for 31 points against the Warriors on Dec. 5. But since then, Nembhard's contributions have dwindled and he's scored in single digits in seven of the last eight games, averaging just 7.3 points, 3.4 boards, 3.1 assists and 1.1 steals over that stretch. The Pacers seem to prefer having Bennedict Mathurin anchor their second-unit scoring, but with Chris Duarte now healthy, Nembhard may have to pick up the pace to keep his spot in the starting five.

  • Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Another double-digit scoring total

Nembhard totaled 18 points (6-12 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 3-4 FT), five rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal over 34 minutes during Monday's 87-82 loss to Miami. Nembhard was second on the team in scoring in Monday's defeat, posting his highest scoring total since Dec. 5, when he scored a season-high 31 against Golden State. Nembhard has reached double figures in scoring eight times this season. The rookie stepped up on a night when backcourt mate Tyrese Haliburton shot a miserable 0-for-9.

  • Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Quiet again in loss

Nembhard recorded five points (2-6 FG, 1-4 3Pt), two rebounds, seven assists and two steals across 32 minutes during Saturday's 136-133 loss to Brooklyn. Nembhard was noticeably quiet on the offensive end in the loss, although he was able to somewhat salvage his night with seven assists. Since his explosion earlier in the week, things have plateaued for Nembhard. With that said, his minutes appear locked in for now. The production will be a bit up and down, as we have seen recently, but he remains a viable asset across standard formats.

  • Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Invisible Friday

Nembhard fouled out of Friday's 121-111 victory over Washington after recording three points (1-3 FG, 1-3 3Pt), three rebounds, two assists and one steal over 29 minutes. Nembhard failed to make an impact Friday, logging his worst scoring performance since Oct. 31 of any game he finished. With Tyrese Haliburton and Myles Turner back from injury, there certainly will be less usage to go around for Nembhard. However, he can be expected to perform better than he did Friday going forward.

  • Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Comes back to earth in loss

Nembhard contributed seven points (3-10 FG, 1-4 3Pt), six rebounds, three assists and two steals over 32 minutes during Wednesday's 121-115 loss to Minnesota. Nembhard couldn't repeat his heroics from the last game, delivering a much more subdued performance. While managers are likely to be disappointed, the fact he still played 32 minutes bodes well for his immediate future. He obviously isn't going to be as productive when both Myles Turner and Tyrese Haliburton are back in the lineup. However, as long as the minutes are there, he should remain a viable 12-team asset moving forward.

  • Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Masterful performance in win

Nembhard registered 31 points (13-21 FG, 5-7 3Pt, 0-1 FT), eight rebounds, 13 assists and one steal in 41 minutes during Monday's 112-104 victory over Golden State. The 2022 second-round pick was on fire Monday and was also effective as a ball distributor, netting a season-high 13 assists. His production uptick is directly tied to Tyrese Haliburton's (groin) absence, so while we should see encouraging stat lines for Nembhard in relief, his numbers will drop back to earth when Haliburton returns, which should be sometime this week.

  • Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Excels as starting point guard

Nembhard contributed 16 points (7-12 FG, 2-6 3Pt), eight assists, six rebounds and one steal over 37 minutes during Sunday's 116-100 loss to the Trail Blazers. Nembhard had started on the wing in the Pacers' previous two games, but he moved over to point guard Sunday in place of Tyrese Haliburton (groin), who is set to remain out through Monday's game at Golden State. Though the Pacers were on the losing end of the front end of the back-to-back set, Nembhard excelled as a distributor and shot efficiently from the field. Nembhard should be a valuable streaming option while Haliburton is out, though he could lose out on some ball-handling responsibilities if T.J. McConnell (illness) is able to return for Monday's contest.

  • Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Records first NBA double-double

Nembhard amassed 13 points (4-10 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT), four rebounds, 10 assists and two steals across 35 minutes during Friday's 139-119 loss to the Jazz. Nembhard played a career-high 35 minutes in the loss and converted the substantial court time to his first NBA double-double. He led Indiana with 10 assists, easily exceeding his previous season-best mark in that category (six against Miami on Nov. 4). Nembhard hasn't quite reached must-roster status in fantasy, but he's enjoying a strong rookie campaign and should be monitored to see if he can build upon Friday's big performance.

  • Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Nails game-winning shot in return

Nembhard (knee) finished with 12 points (4-8 FG, 4-7 3Pt), four rebounds, two blocks, one assist and one steal in 29 minutes in Monday's 116-115 win over the Lakers. Though he came off the bench in his return from a four-game absence, Nembhard was included in the Pacers' crunch-time lineup and delivered the biggest moment of his young career. With the Pacers trailing by two in the closing seconds, Nembhard found an open spot on the three-point arc, took a crosscourt pass from Tyrese Haliburton and coolly hit a game-winning shot as time expired. With Chris Duarte (ankle) seemingly on track to miss the final five games of the Pacers' West Coast road trip, Nembhard should have a clear path to sizable minutes whether he or Aaron Nesmith start next to Buddy Hield on the wing.
