Report: Jets contact free-agent quarterback Rex Grossman

The Jets reached out to free-agent quarterback Rex Grossman on Tuesday, a source told the New York Daily News.

With Geno Smith sidelined with a fractured jaw, Grossman could be a potential replacement. In 54 games, Grossman has thrown 64 touchdowns and 56 interceptions.
