The Los Angeles Kings aren't going away without a fight.

With less than 10 seconds to play in regulation and trailing by one goal while facing elimination, the Kings were able to take advantage of an offensive zone faceoff after an icing call and get a huge goal from Mike Richards to force overtime.

Chicago had just scored to take a 3-2 lead minutes before this and appeared to be on its way to a regulation win. But after Bryan Bickell iced the puck in the closing seconds, the Kings were able to take advantage.

That's why you can't ice the puck in the closing seconds when you're trying to protect a one-goal lead.

This is Richards' first game back in the lineup after missing the past three games due to a big hit from Dave Bolland late in Game 1.
