  • Mammoth's JJ Peterka: Racks up four points in win

Peterka scored twice on six shots, added two assists and went plus-3 in Wednesday's 7-0 win over the Ducks. Peterka's second goal came on the power play, his first contribution with the man advantage all season. The winger has five points over two contests to begin December, which is just one point less than he had in all of November. The 23-year-old is up to 12 goals, 21 points, 60 shots on net and a plus-5 rating through 28 appearances. If he stays on the top line, his offense should continue to surge.

  • Mammoth's JJ Peterka: Tallies in loss

Peterka scored a goal on four shots and added two PIM in Monday's 6-3 loss to the Sharks. Peterka got a chance on the top line with Clayton Keller and Barrett Hayton in this contest. The 23-year-old Peterka cashed in a goal at 16:00 of the first period to cut the Mammoth's deficit to 3-2, but the Sharks took control in the middle frame. The tally ended a four-game slide for Peterka, who had mainly been in a bottom-six role during the slump. He's now at 10 goals, 17 points, 54 shots on net and a plus-2 rating through 27 outings in his first year in Utah.

Peterka scored a goal on four shots in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Rangers. Peterka opened the scoring midway through the first period. The 23-year-old winger is surging with five goals and an assist over his last six games, a quick turnaround after he opened November with five scoreless outings. For the season, he's at nine tallies, 16 points, 43 shots and a plus-2 rating through 22 contests in a middle-six role.

  • Mammoth's JJ Peterka: Pots both goals in loss

Peterka scored two goals and added two PIM in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Sharks. Peterka has four goals and an assist over his last four contests, which coincides with a move to the third line. The 23-year-old winger is at eight goals, 15 points, 38 shots on net, eight PIM and a plus-3 rating over 20 appearances to begin his time with the Mammoth. That puts him on pace to top the 60-point mark for the second year in a row, though he's a little short of being on track to match his 68-point output from 77 games a year ago.

  • Mammoth's JJ Peterka: Tallies again in overtime loss

Peterka scored a goal on three shots and went minus-2 in Friday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Islanders. Peterka was dropped to the third line for this contest but still saw 16:25 of ice time. He has three points over his last two games, so he may stay lower in the lineup until his offense fades. Michael Carcone moved up to take his spot on the second line, and Carcone's style is better suited to the bottom six. Overall, Peterka has six goals, 13 points, 36 shots on net and a plus-2 rating over 18 appearances this season.

  • Mammoth's JJ Peterka: Earns two points versus former team

Peterka scored a goal on three shots, dished an assist and went plus-2 in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Sabres. Peterka snapped a five-game point drought with this effort. He scored the game-tying goal within the first minute of the third period and then set up Lawson Crouse for the eventual game-winner. The 23-year-old Peterka is up to five goals, 12 points, 33 shots on net and a plus-4 rating through his first 17 outings with the Mammoth. He's held onto a second-line role and also sees some power-play time, but with just two multi-point efforts on the year, he's yet to see his offense really come to life this season.

  • Mammoth's JJ Peterka: Buries goal in loss

Peterka scored a goal on three shots in Tuesday's 6-3 loss to the Oilers. A failed clearance by the Oilers opened the door for Peterka to score. He is on a four-game point streak (two goals, four assists) while working on the second line. The 23-year-old winger is up to four goals, 10 points, 19 shots on net and a plus-8 rating through 11 outings this season. Peterka hasn't logged a power-play point yet after picking up 18 of his 68 points with the man advantage last year, so he could still unlock a little more offense.

  • Mammoth's JJ Peterka: Trio of helpers Thursday

Peterka dished out three assists and fired two shots on target in Thursday's 7-4 win over St. Louis. Peterka shared the puck extremely well Thursday with helpers on goals scored by Ian Cole, Logan Cooley and Clayton Keller. The 23-year-old Peterka is up to five assists, seven points and 14 shots on net through eight appearances this season. The rising star's first season with the Mammoth is going swimmingly, as he has solidified himself a spot on the second line alongside Cooley and Dylan Guenther. With 68 points a season ago, Peterka could easily hit that number or more while playing top-six minutes on one of the league's best offenses to open the campaign.

The 23-year-old winger has three points, six shots on net and a plus-2 rating across four appearances with his new team. Peterka scored a goal in Monday's 3-1 loss to the Blackhawks. This was Peterka's second straight game cracking the scoresheet, as he had delivered an assist in the 3-2 win over Nashville on Saturday. Peterka should continue to find opportunities to produce as long as he remains a regular both as a top-six forward and as a power-play member.

  • Sabres' JJ Peterka: Contributes two points in win

Peterka scored a goal on two shots, added an assist and went plus-2 in Thursday's 5-4 win over the Flyers. Peterka ended the year with eight goals and nine assists over his last 16 games after returning from a lower-body injury. The 23-year-old had a total of 27 goals and 68 points, the latter mark being a personal best. He added 173 shots on net, 30 hits, 34 PIM and a minus-1 rating over 77 appearances. Peterka's offense could still grow a little more, but fantasy managers should expect him to spend the bulk of his career as a 60-to-70-point player.

  • Sabres' JJ Peterka: Point streak at five games

Peterka recorded a power-play assist and two PIM in Sunday's 7-4 loss to the Lightning. Peterka has three goals and three assists during his five-game point streak. He's gotten on the scoresheet in 12 of 14 contests since March 20, racking up seven tallies and eight helpers. The winger's offense is not in doubt -- he's up to 66 points and 167 shots over 75 appearances this season, a big step up from his 50-point campaign in 2023-24. At 23 years old, he's still got a couple more years of growth in his game, so Peterka should be a popular offense-only pick in fantasy drafts next fall.

Peterka scored a goal and recorded two hits in Sunday's 5-3 win over Winnipeg. Since the beginning of February and over a 15-game stretch, the 23-year-old has recorded 14 points (eight goals, six assists), 37 shots, 10 hits, three blocked shots and a minus-5 rating.

Coach Lindy Ruff believes Peterka will miss a game or two, which suggests that this should be a short-term absence.
