Manchester City meets in-form Chelsea on Thursday in the Premier League where the title race could end in favor of Liverpool. The sides are facing different objectives, as Manchester City wants to prevent Liverpool from winning the Premier League for as long as it can. The Blues, meanwhile, suddenly have Manchester United breathing down their necks for fourth place. If Chelsea gets a win or draw against Manchester City, then Liverpool will officially be the champion.

Here's how you can watch the match and what to know:

Storylines

Chelsea: The Blues only have a two-point lead over Manchester United and need to rebuild that cushion. A draw here would probably suffice. A tricky schedule the rest of the way for Frank Lampard's team means they need some consistency at home to finish top four, and what better way to do that than by taking down one of the top teams in the league. Expect Christian Pulisic to start in this one after getting a goal off the bench in last weekend's win over Aston Villa.

Man City: Anything but a win here guarantees the Premier League title goes to Liverpool. With the Reds visiting the Etihad next week, City will do what it can over the next two games to at least delay that celebration a bit. In order to do that, the squad will have to get something from Gabriel Jesus with Sergio Aguero set to miss time due to his knee injury. Expect Gabriel to have a couple good looks on goal in this one with Chelsea's defense struggling at times.

Chelsea vs. Manchester City prediction

The Blues lose at home and Liverpool fails to clinch the league.

Pick: Manchester City 2, Chelsea 1
