Manchester City continue their Champions League title defense on Wednesday at Young Boys. In complete control of their group, these matches offer an interesting challenge for Pep Guardiola, and Manchester City can rotate and still win these matches but they're a good time to regain fitness and test young players like Rico Lewis. While John Stones is back to full fitness, Lewis could appear as an inverted fullback in what can be a tough away environment in Switzerland.

Here's our storylines, how you can watch the match and more:

How to watch and odds

  • Date: Wednesday, Oct. 25 | Time: 3 p.m. ET
  • Location: Stadion Wankdorf -- Bern, Switzerland
  • Live stream: Paramount+
  • Odds: Young Boys +1500; Draw +600; Manchester City -600

Storylines

Young Boys: While they'll be up against it in the match, this is one of the bigger clashes that they could ever host at their home stadium. Able to give teams trouble on the counter, Young Boys will be up for this game but just being ready to face City is only half of the battle when stopping them is quite the task. Keep an eye on their defensive shape early.

Manchester City: Between experience for Lewis and working Jack Grealish back to full fitness, this could be a match where the backups put on a show for City. Add in Jeremy Doku's good form as well and City will be able to keep up with whatever Young Boys can throw at them. Julian Alvarez is currently the joint top goal scorer in Champions League play with Rasmus Hojlund but this is a time that he could pull away.

Prediction

Despite Young Boys being able to keep the match close in the first half, City have too much depth and will be able to put things out of reach after the break.  Pick: Young Boys 0, Manchester City 3
