Bolden (undisclosed) was released from the hospital Sunday and is traveling with the team. Bolden was carted off the field on a backboard after laying motionless on the turf, which ultimately led to the suspension of the remainder of Saturday's preseason contest between the Packers and Patriots. The 23-year-old's ability to leave the hospital just a few hours after the scary incident is certainly great news. Although the specifics of his injury are not yet known, the fact that he can leave the hospital and travel with the team is paramount.... See More ... See Less

Patriots' Isaiah Bolden: Taken to hospital
Bolden (undisclosed) was taken to a Green Bay hospital after Saturday's 21-17 preseason win against the Packers. In a scary scene early in the fourth quarter, Bolden remained motionless on the turf after a play, requiring a backboard and cart to get off the field. After coaches Bill Belichick and Matt LaFleur had a discussion, they agreed to suspend the remaining 10-plus minutes of the contest. The Patriots relayed that Bolden has feeling in all of his extremities, but he'll undergo further tests to determine the extent of his injury.... See More ... See Less -
Patriots' Isaiah Bolden: Pats add toolsy defensive back
The Patriots selected Bolden in the seventh round of the 2023 NFL Draft, 245th overall. At 6-foot-2, 201 pounds with long arms (32 and 3/4 inches) Bolden ran a 4.35-second pro day 40 while logging excellent jumps (38-inch vertical, 129-inch broad jump).... See More ... See Less

Evan Lazar@ezlazar3H agoSaid this in the Bell thread. The most fun part about Drake Maye for me is that a #Patriots quarterback can now do stuff like this. When a Pats draft pick/acquisition did something like this before, it was always, nope, not gonna happen here. Now it might actually happen here. https://t.co/uLyroFGCYh

Evan Lazar@ezlazar4H agoI really think there will be a role for Jaheim Bell on the #Patriots as a TE3/H-Back behind Henry and Hooper. Bell's speed to stretch the seam, an area where Drake Maye loves to throw, and YAC ability on dump-offs in the flats fits the personnel/scheme well. https://t.co/67JYOTk2gD
