Fry was optioned to Triple-A Norfolk on Sunday, Nathan Ruiz of The Baltimore Sun reports.
Fry has allowed at least three runs in three of his last five outings, and he'll head to the minors after he allowed four runs on two hits and two walks in a third of an inning against the Rays on Sunday. The southpaw has posted a 5.36 ERA and 1.45 WHIP in 47 innings across 51 appearances with the Orioles this season.
