Bucks' Thon Maker: Won't play in preseason opener

Maker (wrist) won't play in the Bucks' preseason opener against the Bulls on Monday, Eric Nehm of ESPN Milwaukee reports.

Maker is still battling the sprained right wrist he suffered during training camp last week, so he'll be held out as the Bucks open the preseason slate. The rookie didn't participate in Sunday's intrasquad scrimmage but was able to participate in some individual drills during pregame warmups.
